I have to agree on that Rainbow Road is hard. It is also a tricky and dangerous course. I am curious why its always the last course for special cups. Anyways its like contain few or no railing, putting racers at risk of falling into space, and it also contains its unique hazards. Due to these obstacles, Rainbow Road is among the difficult courses in each Mario Kart game. I noticed that Rainbow Road are made of rainbow-colored glass or metallic surfaces that are either one color or change their color as racers pass by them, depending on the game they appear in.

Me in all mario karts i have realized that it is the most difficult race is always the rainbow road .Especially in mario kart 7 3ds .Wow i saw that there is a large difference between mario kart ds and mario kart 7. The first time i played there i fell 15 times .I hate that track but i it was so funny the first time i played there. But as you said we should practice i did that and it just became so funny for me been playing there.

Rainbow road is the hardest yes, but as everyone else has said "Practice Makes Perfect." That quote couldn't be more true for this or anything else in any game. If you just keep on playing it and look up shortcuts, tricks and tips then put those into practice untill you know them by heart and you can do them perfectly then you'll find it an easy track to do.

Even if you're not that dedicated to it, just playing it every now and then you'll eventually find that you're getting better and better at it! :D

It's been a while since I've played Mario Kart at all, so I only remember the two Rainbow Roads from MK7. They aren't hard, one of them is even one of the easiest levels, but the other one (the small one) is simply tricky! Sure, you can fall off really easily, but as long as you know how to keep control of the kart and make consecutive sharp turns with little effort, it's really a joke! Only thing you need to watch out for is other players throwing stuff at you, but it's not hard to avoid them. Also, if you are an expert at handling your kart, even higher speeds don't matter and with so many speed boosters available in the track it's a joke to catch up to others even if you fall off somehow!:p

Yes, indeed, Rainbow Road is hard. For most every Mario Kart game that I have played, it is the hardest track for that particular game. It is also usually one of the most visually stunning tracks in the game (just look at Mario Kart 8 and the space station on its Rainbow Road). I usually enjoy Rainbow Road as a track, with the possible exception being the SNES Rainbow Road... ugh...
