Saving the Wonder Trading Pokemon community

Oh yeah, I forgot about the EV training thing until you mentioned it lol Yeah, you're right about that, though, different people have different EV spreads. I was just thinking about the topic creator who didn't really seem like a competitive battler but, again, different people like different things. Just know that when I'm WTing, I don't give out crappy things like Luvdisc or Zigzagoon--I release those and only trade things that are...well, pretty decent.

I don't like Wonder Trash so I wouldn't give it to anyone else.

Hey I am a Competitive battler.Just that my team is not ready.Ev trained but not leveled up.

Personally, I don't really see the appeal in wonder trade. It's cool, but you usually lose more than you gain. I say that we leave wonder trade alone for the kids to play in. There's no way to keep people from trading bad pokemon and profiting from us trying to make it a better place.

True,but people on WT are grown ups or JAP players.Kids give out decent poke,sometimes not.Normal age people like us trade decent ones,but get bad poke in return.Only way to regain d profit would be to trade again

Wait I think not.Also us Indians,no Nintendo .I get that homepass but that is a long work.I redeemed my 26 Rare Candies by trading 10-15 mins.That's okay I guess.

Just cause the risk of getting something bad outweighs the risk of something good does not mean you simply should not care what you put on there. Breeders like me and I'm sure that others who breed ivs and egg moves.... we end up having a lot of 'bad' pokemon that aren't what we want... but those 'bad' pokemon can be very nice for those who do not know how to or don't go out of the way to do so.
For those that do, getting a pokemon with egg moves and some perfect ivs or hidden abilities... It's actually really nice. Especially if they are from a different country. It allows breeders to take advantage of the masudo method with better chances of having a decent Iv shiney....

TLDR version. By trading good 'trash' on wonder trade, you encourage others who do to trade good 'trash' as well.

Oh, sorry for the wrong assumption then I find WT to be like playing slots--you start playing and you hit the "jackpot" once, then you just can't stop yourself from trading again with the hopes of getting something good again.

Now, taking a break from breeding Shellos and trading Vulpix with HA Drought, Heat Wave and Power Swap

The problem with this is, no matter how hard you guys try to make the community better there will ALWAYS be two types of people:
The ones who take advantage of wonder trade even when they have good IV bred Pokemon, and look for free Pokemon.
And the beginners that have nothing better to trade than their extra Zigzagoons and such.
Either way? Wondertrading is more trouble than it's worth, especially if you're just giving away shinies and good Pokémon.

Don't get me wrong. I wondertrade all my Breedjects, believe me. But that's for an entirely different reason. I wouldn't say making the entire community a better place is a bad thing. I just think it's impossible to do that 100%
It's still nice to see think you're putting a smile on someone's face by giving away a good 'Mon.
I'm not expecting to find anything good in return, is all.

Already doing that, 4-5iv Eevees with 4 egg moves and a good nature should be coming your way.

Yeah but most of the people want higher levels.Mostly/sometimes they might keep them but trade later or just trade.Maybe we could send Breed-able legendary?(Manaphy etc)

People who want 'higher' level pokemon don't know the work or value of egg moves/iv I bet. Level really doesn't matter when most battle online set them to 50 and honestly if you're in need of higher levels to progress through the game, then they are just being lazy about actually working on their own.

I would love to save it but the fact that there always is going to be that annoying 12 year old who "trolls" people, really de motivates me. I mean, it's sad to see how all this effort could be going to waste because of a bunch of inconsiderate little kids (and 40 year olds)... Though I will do my part, and maybe if many people do so, people can learn from this, and change.

Not lv.100 lol,but a decent level.And everyone agrees on that idea.Many people have that Idea but they just won't add it, lets just hope in the next game........... . And also Nintendo has nothing to do with it, its all "Game Freak"
