Gen 6 Should I buy Pokemon Y or Alpha Sapphire?

Well its up to you. Pokemon X and Y were pretty good, but the new and biggest hit is ORAS. Since you want to get Alpha Sapphire, that is a game I highly recommend. I got Alpha Sapphire and I love it. Its just so amazing and what is there not to like about the game. New megas and also the Primal Evolutions! Wow this game made some of my dreams come true!

I think you should get Pokemon Y ._.

Especially if you have played the original Ruby and Sapphire. ORAS is basically that + Graphics + Mega Evolution

Pokemon Y is all brand new. I just feel that it's more enjoyable for older gamers who played Gen 3 ._.

I think you should get Omega... I mean Alpha Sapphire since almost everything you can get in Y you can get oras + way more stuff oh and you get more legends just to stick in a box and never use(lol). Also you can fly to any route as long as you been near the sign.

you should buy omega ruby because, 1 its an awesome remake of a good classic pokemon game. 2. they have more exclusive content that you can get only now on that game, not x and y. 3. they after lots of quests and pokemon you can get after the pokemon league (post game). so I really consider getting pokemon omega ruby for now :)

yeah Omega Ruby or Alpha Saphire seems to win in this case :singing: So go and get it;) im sure itll be fun to get ORAS rather than Pokemon X/Y their pretty much extended and more of value though at first thought youve thought that X/Y would be great. But in my opinion both are great:thumbsup:

To be honest, I liked X more than AS. So for the fun factor I'd say Y but if you want to stay on top of things, well go ahead for ORAs, since you'll have access to more Mega Evolutions.

Ok ORAS contains many new mega evolutions and Primal Reversion for Kyogore/Groudon but I don't use those legends much :p You can have all other Pokemon in the game. In X/Y the benefits are an ENTIRELY NEW world. ORAS is just Ruby/Sapphire with a few tweaks but otherwise the same map-wise (Super secret Bases) I don't have X/Y but you can have ALL Pokemon (Not includes Megas in ORAS) in the game. In ORAS you have to transfer or trade from X/Y which is annoying to complete your Pokedex. Both are great and otherwises the same graphic-wise you should decide from all this info! :D

I suggest you to buy sapphire because it has more features than pokemon y like the latias flying thing and secret bases. They also have new mega evolutions like primal groudon and primal kyorge. You can catch more legendary and the storyline is improved from the 1st game

Even though I enjoyed both games, I would suggest getting Alpha Sapphire.
Y is new while AS is a remake but on a much higher level, in my opinion. Everything you can get in Y you can get in AS except Yveltal/Xerneas when you finish the game, mega stones and legendaries are available.
There's also many new features such as the DexNav, flying around on your Mega Lati@s, two daycare locations and so goes on.
The only thing I wish ORAS had in, is the character customization, it was one of XY's best features. It was nice how each character was unique.

Pokemon Y!
A good game with nice story.

1. New Mega Evolution feature that makes your Pokemons more powerful (you can use it only 1 time in a battle)

4. New PSS, Super Traning and Pokemon Amie! Play with your Pokemons and your friends!

9. You can customize you (the trainer), like changing your hair and clothing!
10. Updated cries - 3 cries updated!

Pokemon Alpha Sapphire!
A good game with the old story but with cool features and twists to the story!

1. More mega evolutions than Pokemon Y, Plus Primal evolutions!
2. 3D Grafics!
3. Horde battles!
4. Pokenav + includes the Dex nav, Play nav (PSS, Super training and Pokemon Amie) Buzz Nav and Area Nav!]

Get Pokemon Omega Ruby instead :sneaky:. It has Primal Groudon and Primal Groudon has a better design.
