SSB for 3DS is one of the best games there is on the 3DS. There are 50 characters to chose from including Mewtwo and There are custom specials which you have to unlock for every character except Palutena and the Mii Fighters.

You should get it. The game is a lot of fun. You get a lot of modes like classic, smash run, and of course, the online play. There is just a variety of characters that are so good and the custom move sets are great. You even have a few stages that the Wii U doesn't provide. I personally like it because it is on a 3ds which I can bring with while going on a long trip in a vehicle. Not only that, but it is closer to my head. When I play on the TV, it's hard for me to see since I'm near sighted and so I perform poorly for melee (That was the past). But with the Wii U, they actually have the gamepad so it actually makes it easier too. Same with the 3ds, I can do better and actually see what is happening in the game more clearly. But I prefer the 3ds because the Wii U gamepad has the joystick which makes me feel uncomfortable. It just kills a lot of time. Therefore, you should definitely get the game.

Uh the answer would obviously be YES. This is one of the best 3ds games out there and for 40 dollars, one copy of this game can finally be yours to keep. Just think of it, you can play with other members on this site, with your friends, with others online, and even enjoy it's new features. This is a must have.

it an over all great game but if you are in for the online you are not going to be happy. the internet sucks in gameplay. if you are looking to do the challenges well this will take a long while to complete. there is an overabundant worth of content you will be going back to.

I was wondering the same thing, I got the money, sure, but should I get it? Judging by the fact that I have Brawl for my wii. Do I really need SSB4? I'm know that the DLC is awesome, they added mega man, but in reality, is it worth what people say it is worth? Just because of the characters and DLC and online, will I really just pay another $40 for a Smash game I kind of already have?

Depends if you're a gamer on the go or if you game at home. If you're a gamer on the go, this is a huge value, and arguably one of the best 3ds games out there. However, if you are a home gamer, it's hard to justify why you'd spend $40 for the same game that generally performs better on the wii u. If that's the case, and you like the 3ds controller, you can get the smash controller app on the e-shop for 99 cents, and that is a good value if you're asking me. You have many options, my friend :).
