This is a toughie. Iv'e seen my other friends play, ans they both seem awesome!!! Since this is a Mario kart discussion, most of you will pick mario kart, please be honest and help me out. Thanks!!:):D:p

Since this is a Mario kart discussion
It's Mario and Mario Kart, ;)

As for the question, I'd go with Mario Kart 7. I've played both of them before and honestly, I was disappointed in 3D Land. It lacked bosses, the only challenging gameplay you'll encounter is in the special worlds when the bosses go "bye bye" and I'm not really a fan of the "collect XX green stars just to progress further" idea. Don't let me get started on the invincibility leaf, but that's an optional item. You have the choice not to use it, however, it tempts you when you keep losing >.< and you may use it at some point and lose that feeling of achievement when you do actually beat it but never got the chance to.

On top of that, Mario Kart 7 has replay value because of online play over Wi-Fi.

I find this hard to choose. If I had to choose one it would be Mario 3d land. This is my reasons why. One is I like a challenge. 3D land adds some challenge. Plus in 3D land people send random mystery boxes and toad houses. There are new power ups on 3D land I think. Anyways up to you. Good luck then. (Sorry for the lengthy reply) :)

I really like Super Mario 3D land but I prefer Mario Kart 7. I think I can enjoy more it. There you can choose different characters, tracks and so one, that is, in my opinion, what make it enjoyable. I love to conect my console with my friends and play for a long time :)

If I were you I'd go for Mario Kart 7. For me Mario Kart 7 has much more replay value compared to Super Mario 3D Land. I played through SM3L once and didn't reallf feel like playing it through again. Plus you've got the added bonus of MK7 online multiplayer that'll keep you hooked for months. And you'll be able to play online with your friends which is even better.

3D World Is really fun when it comes to platforming and It's a great multiplayer game with loads of fun to be had and It has Rosalina for some reason does she have to be in every recent game It's like she's getting peoples attention OMG watch out for her around places and stuff:eek::nailbiting:

I agree completely with @Marc ,3D Land was such a disappointment, especially after all the rave reviews it received. It was a short game filled with either really easy levels or really irritating levels. The area after beating the game the first time was just reskins of old levels and the final level requires way too much backtracking to get to.

Mario Kart 7 however is you getting exactly what you're paying for, a classic Mario Kart game with fun singleplayer and insanely good multiplayer. If they hadn't taken out the missions for whatever reasons, I would have even rated it higher than Mario kart DS, which was easily one of the best DS games

I have played Super Mario 3D land it was good and the graphics were something as well as the gameplay however I suggest that you get Mario kart because it is more fun seeing that you can race with characters in the game and other players .

Uh, spoiler alert? Lol (Not for me but for @Mehedi123) :p

I would probably go with Mario Kart 7 because there is much more replay ability to it than Super Mario 3D Land, yet 3D Land probably will give you more of a memorable experience. I'd say just pick the one that interests you the most.

Imo, I think the star coins to progress system worked great. In fact I never got stuck at one of those points because I always had more than enough. If you play Mario as if the 3 star coins are a requirement, then it adds much more challenge and makes it more fun. Also, if you ever used the invincibility leaf, for shame! :D Anyway, how's MK7's online as of now? I've been thinking of picking it up after I get Monster Hunter 4, but a lacking online community would kill it for me. And unrelated, but same with Animal Crossing - is online still alive? :p

I would go with Mario kart 7 because Mario Kart franchise brings Mushroom Kingdom racing fun into glorious 3D. For the first time, drivers explore new competitive kart possibilities, such as soaring through the skies or plunging to the depths of the sea. New courses, strategic new abilities and customizable karts bring the racing excitement to new heights.#

They are both great games, but I'd prefer Super Mario 3D land for it's fun game play style.

I agree that 3d land might seem a bit easy but it's quite hard when completing a save file %100 or at least getting five crowns or stars in my perspective. It's really fun to play too and hard to get bored of easily.

To be honest it's only fun when friends are around like always and it's easy to master so I'd say 3d land is much harder to %100 complete.:D

Racing is better with friends, yeah, but if you're competitive you've got things like the Time Trials to keep you occupied. There's also stuff like online multiplayer, so you can't go wrong with it, really
