AC:NL Should I get this game soon?

I know the game's been out for a while now, and I really tried to get it as soon as I could, but games as this one in my country don't really arrive as soon as the game releases.
So my question is, being so late to the game release, should I still be interested in getting this game?. I used to have AC:WW and I enjoyed it, but didn't really have anyone to visit or play with.
Assuming I have some money to spare before November for TLoZ, should I get this game?

Trust me when I say this, you won't have time to play New Leaf after you start Pokemon, so don't waste your money on it.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf is a game that you can play at your own pace. There's nothing like finishing first, I think (maybe when completing your bug/fish collection but that's not really a big deal). It's the first Animal Crossing game that I got for myself. It doesn't matter when you buy it, I'm sure people will play the game after 12 months. Of course, if you hate playing the waiting game, you can time travel to catch bugs and fishes that you missed. It's very addicting at the start, however, its single player gameplay may get a little boring after a while.

Playing with friends over Wi-Fi is really fun and I highly recommend this game, Definitely worth $35 US

You made a good decision on going with Pokémon X or Pokémon Y, Risinglink. Animal Crossing: New Leaf is great, but everyone has moved onto Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, so no one plays Animal Crossing: New Leaf anymore.
