Eight hundred years ago, the kishin, Azura defected from the legendary Eight Shiningami Legions cause and started consuming innocent human souls and even three of his comrades, including his demon weapon partner Vajra. After succeeding in becoming a Kishin, he and Death fought to a gruesome end. Pushed to the brink, Death skinned Asura alive and used it as a seal to kept his madness locked away from the world. The process however, also anchored Death to what would later be known as "Death City," now unable to leave the area in which Asura is sealed. In order to train meisters and weapons to avoid Asura and Vajra's fates, and to have soldiers to continue with his work now that he was immobile, Death founded the Death Weapon Miester Academy.

"Hiya! Hello! Good to see ya! It's me, Lord Death. The principal of the DWMA! After the Kishin's defeat, me, the Death Scythes and the students worked very hard to make repairs to Death City, and we were able to double the size of the academy! The only problem is, we need more students! But never fear, that's where you come in!"

Personality: Doesn't trust people, also a negative person. Stays usually quite quiet and hate confrontation. Would likely betray his friends if he believed there is a more important cause. Is very intelligent but can kill in cold blood.
Extra details: Has a long heritage that only he knows about and a old map with various locations circled and written on. Also has a paper that has DEADLINE CURE on it. No one has found out what it reads.

Personality: A serious bookworm, she dislikes people who cheat or cut corners to get what they want. She may seem timid at first glance, but when she takes up her weapon, she is more than a deadly force to be reckoned with.
Extra Details: She looks up to the girl who defeated the kishin one year ago, Maka Albarn. So much so that she got the habit of hitting people with dictionaries.

Personality: He may come off as mean and brutal, but underneath that hard exterior lies a soft heart. He often get in fights, and has been pegged for being a klutz at times.
Extra Details: He's actually really good at cooking, which explains why his friends always ask him to cook for them.

Age: 14

Type of weapon: A long combat knife
Personality: A quick tempered, but overall kind person. He spends most of his time in libraries or trying to make new friends.
Extra details: He has a photographic memory and spends his free time writing novels. He has trouble transforming into his weapon form when around furry animals.

Personality: A fast thinking guy who loves to fight. He hates losing and will work Jelal to exhaustion during cardio workouts.
Extra details: He hates catching Jelal in the library or talking to other people. ( Bare minimum for the win.)

Personality: Doesn't think before speaking. He's also is very curious about Sam but he never opens up to him. He has trouble getting along with most people and usually tends to get into fights. He tends to have a positive attitude in bad situations. He spends his free time researching history of pretty much everything.
Extra Details: He possesses a family heirloom: The Shaman Rod, that he rarely uses but can wield it with extreme skill and speed.

Personality: Ardor is extremely shy but if you can get him talking he would never shut up. Ardor is a very likable guy and can be very funny. Ardor is super protective of his friends and would do anything for them.
Extra Details: Ardor prefers large and heavy swords his favorite being in the style of the Buster sword. His usual attire is a long brown trench coat, a quirky shirt, loose black jeans, and extremely flashy shoes. He has long black hair he keeps in a ponytail, brown eyes, tan skin, and is 5' 10".

Alright, Ardor's weapon.
Name: Leo
Age: 17
Weapon: The Buster Sword
Personality: Being alot more sociable than his partner, Leo has been friends with Ardor since they were kids. Leo is more outgoing than Ardor and tries to make as many friends as he can.
Extra Details: Leo is always dressing snazzy in his white button up, black slacks, black vest, black oxfords, gold pocket watch in his front vest pocket, and red tie. Leo keeps his brown hair short cropped and is constantly adjusting his glasses.

Alright, let's start! (Do we seriously only have one girl? XD)

The DWMA staircase, it's probably longer than any staircase in Death City. Here, we have 2 partners running up the stairs to not miss their first day of school with their friends. "Hurry...Hiro. We can be late on the first day!" The guy started to run up behind the girl. "Dammit, don't you think I know that?! Everyone's waiting for us to start the meeting with Lord Death, we need to hurry!" The two eventually made it into the DWMA, and proceeded to the Death Room, there, all their friends and Lord Death awaited.

"Hi! Howdy! How are ya! Good to see ya! So, you two are the last pair to arrive, hmm?" Lord Death said. "Yes sir! One star Scythe Miester, Ayake Yuno, reporting!" The girl said. "Ah, yes. Naturally I already know all of you." Death said.
