Yeah i have a question, can one buy a Code and use it on one of the version's, not just 3ds locked. For example if i buy a code for Ryu on my 3ds, and i type in the code for my wiiu version, will it work?

Nope. The codes are system locked.

No, the code is either for Wii U or for 3DS
