Closed SSB4 3DS Tournament (Free entry!)

All right so here goes. This will be an SSB4 3ds tournament! If that wasn't obvious enough by the title. Look below you will find the conditions and rules :3

Rules​

• There will be a participant limit of 16 people. If enough people want to join though ,which is unlikely since it's a measly prize I will increase the number to 32.
• All matches will be a 1 v 1 match, 2 stock, Omega stages only, no items none at all, and a 5:00 min time limit to prevent stalling.
• All characters are available except for the Mii Fighters. I would allow this if you promise not to use equipment but there is no way to prove that you didn't and you could lie and it would be unfair. All other characters however are free to use including the DLC characters which are Mewtwo, Lucas, Ryu, and Roy. Okay so before now I had a rule here saying two people cannot play as the same character but on light of recent events I decided this. There can be up to 2 of the same character. So 2 Little Macs? No one else can be Little Mac.
• I'm making this one so this tournament doesn't take like years to finish. There will be a 4 day deadline date. The least active member for each match if the match has not been done will be disqualified.
• I might make this a double elimination it depends on you guys.
• If you want to join say you want to join who you will use and your FC,
• IMPORTANT!: No saltiness. Even if it's lag or they spammed or you just messed up. I don't want to see any salt. I want there to be good sportsmanship okay?
• Next up is there is no pc entry! WHOOO CELEBrATeEEFR Anyways this is because I mainly want this to be for fun yes there will be a prize but it's small so bear with me.
• And I think that's it. Also if you have any questions or something isn't clear feel free to ask me ^.^ Now go out there and SMASH!

You cannot use the same character as someone else I added it to the rules already but for those wondering why It's because then we might have like 3 Sonics or Little Macs or stuff like that. And I don't think it would be fun to fight the same character again you know?

Why can there be only one occurrence of each character ? I saw that in several tournaments already and never understood the point of that rule.

It's to eliminate risk of the same characters being used by like everyone. A lot of people play Little Mac. So would you like it if every person who plays Little Mac picked Little Mac? Then you get annoyed of having to fight Little Mac. not only that but I just feel like it makes more sense. IDK though.

Well you know I feel that if your only good with one character then well learn another one. Just for tournaments like these. Not just that but I would never make a tournament with items and non omega stages. People would lose because of cheap items like dragoon and final smashes and then they get killed by the stage like a platform moves and they get pulled off stage. That just doesn't seem fair. I mean this tournament is for fun but I still want there to be a challenge. And if that challenge is say your main is taken. Then if you really wanna join maybe learn a new one I don't know.Of course these are just opinions. If enough people complain ,like a majority of the contestants, then I'll probably change it. I just feel like it's sort of like a to each his own kind of thing.
