So I've thought about what Hayleia said and I decided this (I just edited this in the rules) there can be up to 2 of each character since just in case there's someone who mains say ZSS and they join then another person wanting to join wants to pick ZSS then they can. But since that makes a 2nd ZSS no one else can be ZSS. If this is still too confusing I'm sorry I'll try and explain it better upon request.

Well if I think that Little Mac is not a good character, I'd actually rather everyone playing as him and me beating them up really easily.
Otherwise, if I think Little Mac is a good character, well if everyone plays as him it's my problem if I don't.

And I don't mind that rule in fun-themed tournaments but I don't think it makes any sense in skill-based tournaments (which is the case of yours since you said "Omega no items") since contestants are here to show what they can do at their best, which means what they can do with the character they play the best, and not just with one of the characters they play the best among the remaining ones.

Not that I care that much, I won't enter your contest (stupid Wi Fi over here) :p

Well you know I feel that if your only good with one character then well learn another one. Just for tournaments like these.

I didn't say that people would like to play their main because they can only play him, but they would like to play him because that's the character they use best so it's the obvious choice for a tournament where you show off your best skills.

Not just that but I would never make a tournament with items and non omega stages. People would lose because of cheap items like dragoon and final smashes and then they get killed by the stage like a platform moves and they get pulled off stage. That just doesn't seem fair. I mean this tournament is for fun but I still want there to be a challenge.

I completely agree with this :)

And if that challenge is say your main is taken. Then if you really wanna join maybe learn a new one I don't know. Of course these are just opinions.

True story. Abid by the rules or don't get in the tournament. Notice I was not complaining about the rules (as I said, I can't join), just asking why this one in particular, especially since it's not the first time I see it ;)

Okay so now that we have reached the minimum mark I'm gonna wait like a day or two and see if more people wanna join. If not then we'll just start with the 16 people we have.
