Still Wishing for Flipnote studio 3d

I think that is what giving them so much of problems to port it over to NA/Europe (just a guess) the 3D feature might be tough to incorporate, especially in online mode, not sure how it'll work out.

The 3D feature would be hard to program ? I don't think that's the problem. The problem is that Nintendo simply doesn't want to release it here. Because once it's programmed, an application like this just need to be localized/translated.

Curse that 12-year-old who resulted in the shutting down of Swapnote. I think Nintendo's holding back on Flipnote because they think we're all as immature as her.
Still, it's gone from 'waiting' to 'wishing' to 'having no hope of it being released' for me. It's been three years, it was announced ever since the 3DS itself was released, but we've still never even seen anything to prove it's being developed. Too bad, especially since the original Flipnote is gone now too.

what is the difference between Flipnote Studio DSi's and Flipnote Studio 3d. Can anyone explaine me the difference? Is that 3d thing a game or a program for 3ds?

You said everything in what you said. Flipnote Studio => DSi, Flinote Studio 3D => 3DS.

I still don't understand what is taking Nintendo so long to release this. Flipnote Studio was the killer application for the DSI and really made it worth getting a DSI over a DS Lite. I'm guessing they are facing legal issues more than anything but I think a short- term fix would be to disable pictures until a better long-term alternative becomes available.

I think it's due to the Swapnote issue that happened. But again, why would it be released in Japan only ? And also, to extend a bit the case of the Swapnote thing, what are the parents doing (they might be busy, I know) or why didn't the child told it to his parents ?


Shame that we'll never get Flipnote Studio :(...

heard that Flipnote 3d was going to be released in mid July. Why is it taking so long >.> lol Kinda wanted to get this since its a free app and with me buying Colors 2 days before Comic workshop got me really depressed lol Still waiting for Flipnote 3d's release though lol

Its so unfair that Japan has had it for like a year now and north america hasn't even gotten a release date! Like seriously Nintendo? Release the game already! We've waited long enough for it don't you agree???? It was bad. Enough the we lost hatena and now this?! I still have some hope left that it will come out... And I really hope that it comes out in the near future! Two thumbs down for not releasing (or mentioning it at all) Nintendo :thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

I've been waiting for over 3 years now :panda:

I honestly don't think it'll ever come out, at least in Western regions :(

What makes me sad is that I never tried the dsi Flipnote because well, I didn't ever get one.
Always thought it seemed cool though. :unsure:

Yes it is really cool. I love making flip notes for asdf movies. Also, does anybody know if I would be able to get the dsi transfer tool and transfer flipnote to my 3ds??? Plrz answer, I need help.

I'm waiting for it, too. I don't think that Nintendo made a very wise decision of releasing SlipNote studio in Japan and not in Europe/The Americas. There are a number of great 3DS artists on Flipnote, and I would love to see what the Western sode of the Nintendo community can do.

I loved Flipnote on DSi so much. I would be on there every day and I was even on the Flipnote Hatena. But it is such a shame that Flipnote 3D will forever be in japan. I don't see it ever making it into American because of the retards that had to ruin swapnote for everyone.

Sooooo... Is that a no or yes? Has anyone ever even tried to transfer it??? You should try it and tell me if it works, and you might or might not be the first American to have an AMERICAN 3ds with flip note... P.S. The virtual boy sucks, although you and everyone else on earth already knows...

I actually like the virtual boy :/ so that was kind of mean. The angry video game nerd gave it a bad reputation because the virtual boy isn't bad at all. It was just ahead of its time I have had my virtual boy for years and I like almost all of the games. So please keep your rude assumptions to yourself next time.

I got a Dsi really late and it isn't in the best condition, so when I try to draw on flip note it goes crazy :/

I really hope they bring this back to the 3ds because Flipnote was amazing for animators and I would love to back animations on my 3ds.

Are you able to just use the dsi 3ds transfer tool to transfer it to the 3ds? I mean, you could just get free games (like flipnote) on your dsi and transfer to the 3ds. I've seen people do it before. I haven't seen anyone transfer flipnote though. So, if you can, try and please tell me your results....

There's no updates for Flipnote 3D as of late. They may as well not bother and just give us the original Flipnote Studios and recontinue Flipnote Hatena as an apology for us not getting it. I mean, after the Nintendo Direct that we saw with it, and not giving us that after the Swapnote Incident, it's better not to care and just stick to the old Flipnote.
