About Super Mario 3D Land

To be honesty, I prefer Super Mario 3D World but this game has advantages at Super Mario 3d World

Tanooki object: Good remake at Super Mario Bros 3

16 worlds in Super Mario 3d Land VS 12 worlds in Super Mario 3D World

Shortcuts: Some shortcuts to pass a world

The picture of Peach with Tanooki is different at Super Mario 3D World so I like that.

Purchasing by a shadow Mario: Good remake at Super Mario Galaxy 2
Me as well I enjoyed being chased by shadow Mario if that is what his name is,sometimes he was big and sometimes he was small but whatever size he was always so troublesome. The worlds were good as well and I like the picture with luigi in jail.

I got it on release back in 2011 pretty much only because Heart was getting it.

I thought it was pretty fun and it was refreshing to have a lighthearted 3D Mario game. SM3DW was too much tho.

Me as well I think I got the game when I got my 3ds basically when I got it the battery was binking red and the game came on when I pressed the power button it didn't go to the home menu but it was the first 3d game I ever played .

Still debating whether to get this. .-. I want a mario game on the 3ds lol. I've heard it's really easy and stuff, would you recommend it? @Mikaya I've looked up some videos and reviews and it looks fun af :p

It's just too easy. I'm not saying I'm a pro gamer or anything, but you don't really have to be good at games to beat this one. 3D World was a huge improvement (the Wii U version) and I would take it over 3D Land any day.

While I don't exactly call myself a casual gamer, I just thought that 3D Land was too casual. No bosses and the invincibility leaf makes the game far too easy.

I really liked this game. The gameplay was phenomenal with 3d that is great. My favorite part about this game was collecting power ups and using it on any enemies I saw. This game was worth its price and I have not regretted getting this game. I reccomend this game to anybody who is a fan of the mario series.

This thread is old, but I'l continue it. SM3D land was very fun and impressive when the 3DS first came out. When I got the game I played It for a long time and never continued it until one day I wanted to finish the game. The gameplay was fun and nice, but shortly after 50% the game, (i never got to do the luigi challanges thing) I lost the copy :(

My cousin let me play it once on the 3DS. I thought it was okay, certainly not the best or the worst Mario game I have ever played. It is good for 3D game standards and it was fun. The Shadow Mario run was somewhat challenging even though it is like Super Mario Galaxy, so they aren't to much trouble.

I really loved this game. It wasn't like your average 2D Mario game and was indeed tons of fun. I've even got to play as Luigi. But sadly, something happened back then and I sold the game back. To this day, I have almost nothing fun to play and I need to buy a new PS3 controller. If I could get a free game, I would buy Super Mario 3D Land in a heartbeat.

I really liked Super Mario 3D Land. It's pretty, has really stable platforming, and is really generally well made. My problem? In my first 2-3 hours, I got to World 5 in a breeze. It doesn't get harder until the Specialworlds, and it's just tough collecting every Star Coin. And even then, it just took a couple of tries. Not that this game is bad, it's just too easy. I still would recommend it.

3d land was not bad for a handheld game, but I can not say that it was great. The game was severely easy, very short levels, and had really terrible bosses (Bom bom and pom pom over and over again). But of course, for a handheld game, it really was not too bad. But compared to any other 3d Mario games, this once is the worst out of all of them. That saying, it was a fun game, but the worst out of all the other 3d Mario games.

The game sucked. I was very disappointed on the levels and the story. The levels where boring and the story did not make sence

This game is really good. I got to the final bowser fight in special but couldn't beat him so now I just have to speed run all of the levels.

I really loved playing Super Mario 3d land. It is one of my favourite Mario games ever. I really loved the levels in 3d and the places where you need to use 3d to spot optical illusions. Some of the stages were tough, however I feel the game suits more variety of stages and should not be made too difficult, which nintendo did! :D

It's a great Mario game, and it's on a handheld! Lot's of great worlds, with special worlds, and I really like the Statue Leaf.
