Super Smash Bros. for 3DS or Super Smash Bros. for Wii U?

I don't own a Wii U....so I can't tell you if the other is better
But I do own a 3DS and I love the characters in it. I wonder what the other version is like though, the 3DS is slightly harder to figure out because I'm used to playing on a actual controller than a hand-held device but hey the more I play it the better I should be, right?

fortunately I own a 3ds and a wii u. I have played the super smash bros for 3ds and I have to be honest, I loved it. Anyway I stopped playing it because I thought if this game is just amazing, I can't wait til playing the super smash bros for wii u!! I haven't tried it so far but I am highly excited to do so because i think that game actually keeps the essence of smash bros which is playing it together with friends, face to face. I know the online features are amazing and help us be closer while we compete against other users but it is not the same as to face your foe face to face and have real fun. this is kind of impossible on the 3ds where you need two copies of the game to play like this.

3DS, because that's the version I have! (I don't plan on getting the U version either). It's pretty good for a handheld Smash title with still plenty to unlock and enjoy. The lag is a downside on online matches but there are ways to avoid/prevent it. 8-player Smash in the Wii U version just sounds like utter chaos (as if 4 players on one screens wasn't enough for you).

Well, some people are at least fair on it. The wii u version is obviously better but not much people have a wii u so they can not really say yachting because they never experienced the game so that is why the 3ds is winning. Just saying, the 3ds version is not better. It is still a good game but in my opinion, the wii u version is way better. And yes, I have both versions of the game.

I've played the 3ds version a ton more and I like it a lot but I know the Wii U version is the superior game. For obvious reasons, more music, hd graphics, 8 players, more stages, more variety stages like big places, events etc. I like playing smash in my bed at night which probably led to me liking the 3ds version so much. That and I owned it first.

In all honesty,I like both Smash 4 games equally,because each of them serve unique aspects(Example:Smash Run and Smash Tour)and some similar features as well,and I really like the concept of having a handheld Smash game to play whenever I want to,while I also have Smash in HD at home to play.Really,both these games are just as good as each other,in my opinion.,and because of that,it's hard to decide which one to pick.
