Yeah, one thing that i want most for smash switch is to have challenger approaching moments for a long time. Having new characters show up and whoever won the last fight gets to fight them to unlock them is one of my favorite things, because it allows you to get hyped for a new character and cheer on your friends that you are usually destroying. They could even give a short cinematic after you beat them that leads into the Greninja-splashes in! or whatever. Unlocking stuff with friends (especially stuff you don’t expect like some music you really like or a character you didn’t know about, though the exitement of getting to try a character out you allready knew about is fun too.) lets you ride the hype train for longer than just until you get the game.
