I voted Isaac as well! Otherwise I'd love any cut veterans that are remaining. Best case scenario is still of course that all those slots get newcomers in them. Of course we don't have to limit ourselves to the 2 slots in the datamines, it is very possible that there are more than those 2, especially since they said 2 pre-Cloud meaning there would only be one left if they are sticking to that number.

That is a little hypocritical of them to say on Miiverse indeed, however Wolf is still more than just a "pallet swap" for Fox, his B moves function similarly, but for all except his down B have unique enough properties to bring something different than the usual Fox, then there's Wolf's standard or A moves set him even farther from Fox. (Also Marth only has 2 clones, Lucina and Roy, with Roy being unique enough to still justify DLC, some claim Ike is one, but that is far from the case my friend.)

I voted for Ally/Vent from MMZX, but would be happy to see Paper Mario.
Your second post expresses rightful outrage of trollish people voting for impossible characters, but I take intellectual offense to the first. As I have fought as/against both Wolf and Roy, I can attest that they are indeed their own fighters.
And then there are the people who vote for Twilight Sparkles, John Cena, Elsa, and Shrek... REALLY PEOPLE!!!

I wont lie i still want Shovel Knight although he's been all but completely deconfirmed. I'd be okay with Wolf or Snake though, though I'd preffer new ones. Wolf has really flashy, cool to use moves, and Snake is certified BA in Smash. In REALITY tho I'd preffer NO more characters after Cloud. It's great they're expanding the roster, but when does it become too many? They\'re eventually gonna have to cut people and then people will be dissappointed. Like I want them to keep Lucina because she's an easy to play Marth. But because she's just a clone I know she'll probably be cut from the next smash. I think they need to start limiting themselves!

Eh...not necessarily. I mean, DLC doesn't affect a game rating for one thing. Besides, given all the horrible PR Konami has gotten, I'd imagine he hasn't gotten enough votes to make it to the top of the poll. But hey, he could always come back without the poll, similar to how Cloud is getting in regardless of the poll. Anyways, that aside, I vote for Inklings or Wolf. Inklings because I'd love to see some new characters, and Wolf because...well Star Fox is awesome, what more reason do you need? XD

I do not think so. Sakarui already confirmed no more future smash bros games. Considering how hard they worked on these smash bros games, I do not think they will create another smash bros. It is simply too hard to develop, and they worked so hard on smash 4, I know there will not be another smash bros.

Sakurai has said "no more Smash Bros games" before, but still you make valid arguments otherwise, I'd be fine with them simply porting the current one to future consoles. Kind of like the "Championship Edition" people have come up with for the NX, which has both the WiiU and 3DS content, which could make sense considering the hybrid rumours we've been hearing about the system.

Hmm, I guess you can be right, but porting would not be fun at all, and considering how well smash bros graphics are on the wii u, a remake would be dhoughtful, and the 3ds smash bros would be not be easy to port either(if the nx is a handheld). Usually, ported games need to wait at least 2 generations. Maybe it can be a hybrid, but yeah, I hope they release it in 2018. I want them to take time developing the console, and launch it properly. So yeah, for now though, lets talk about the current generation with the Wii u and 3ds
It is way too early to even talk about the nx. I hope they add a few more characters in smash bros, but I am satisfied with the lineup. I hope nes Mario comes into play, that would make great use of the mario ammibo also

Well let me point out that you shouldn't take Sakurai's words TOO seriously. He's been saying that the newest smash will be the last one before he retires the series ever since Melee. He always says there won't be another smash bros game, but even if he were to stop making them, Nintendo would get other devs to make it. It's too big of a money maker for them to just stop making them, and let's keep in mind that while they aren't bankrupt, they aren't doing extremely well either.
