Uhh.. I don't know who the gingerbreads represent, but I'm writing this to Little fabman S. aka Lil' Fabs.

All I want for Christmas is a stress-free break from school. I hope to spend my time enjoying life with my family and finding time to help the community.
...A Nintendo eShop card for Smash DLC would be nice too.

I enjoy giving gifts, 'specially when they are homemade and for my friends. Giving and receiving stuff like stuff on my xmas list is ~aight.

My favorite thing about Christmas is the fact that whenever the season rolls around, I experience nostalgia. I always remember the cold Christmases years ago. I also enjoy having a break from school and surfin' the net. This Christmas will surely be memorable since my greatest present is finding 3DS Pedia.

(side note) I've been here for a day and I think it is fantastic. I believe the website has gone far in its 2 years (so I've heard). Just today I spent a couple hours on the "Shoutbox", met some people, and got my PC bank started. 3DS Pedia truly feels like a small family. I hope it continues to grow and live on. Shoutouts to SuperMii3D and Marc for making my first day incredible.

A short poem:
Each Christmas I remember
the times of long ago,
I see our mantelpiece adorned
with stockings in a row.

Each Christmas finds me dreaming
Of days that used to be,
When we hid presents here and there,
For all the family.

Each Christmas I
remember
The fragrance in the air,
Of roasting turkey and mince pies
And cookies everywhere.

Each Christmas finds me longing
For Christmases now past,
And I am back in childhood
As long as memories last.

Anuthuh one:
My first day at 3DS Pedia
was totally alpha.
I met a boi named SuperMii3D
who was full of glee

I came for Play coins
but the family here brought heat to my loins.
I'm only level one
but I'm already having fun.

Thank you, Marc.
You created a social media,
A fire started by a spark,
known as 3DS Pedia.

Dear Mrs. Icey Dressy Star,

how are you doing? How are the kids? I can tell by the photo you got your hair done, it looks wonderful. It matches perfectly with your dress! Girl, you need to give me some styling tips! But lets get to the point. Of course this letter is about Christmas, so I'll have to answer the obvious question; What do I want for Christmas? Now, I will probably sound like the runner-up for Miss Universe saying this, but what I want for Christmas is world peace. The world is such a mess nowadays, and it terrifies me to think how much worse it will be come if we keep going like this. I honestly believe that the only reasons for war are a lust for power and a lack of compassion. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could once and for all make sure that with Christmas everyone is happy? Christmas unities us in this most fantastic ways. I am sure you already know the story about the German and French soldiers in the First World War, but I'll write it down anyway since I find it so inspirational. It was Christmas eve and the battlefield was relatively quiet. Whenever someone dared to get up out of the dirt, bullets would fly, mercilessly piercing all. It was cold, and most men desperately longed for home and their families. Then, though bullets flew around him, a soldier crossed the battlefield, carrying a Christmas tree with little lit candles on its branches. In both trenches the men started singing Christmas songs and the fighting stopped. Everyone got up and out and men who had been enemies just hours ago shared stories and gifts with one another. Then, finally, when it got really late, everyone went back to 'their' side. The next day the war continued. I think this story goes to show that we are all united in a much more basic way than we are enemies. I feel terrible seeing the world tearing itself up like this. So all I want for Christmas is peace.

You also asked me what I like more, giving or getting gifts, and why. It's almost a tie. Getting great personal gifts always makes me happy because it lets me know people care about me. It really is a symbol. Then again, a stack of 3DS games might make me happier than yet another pencil set. The best gift I ever got wasn't anything like that though, and it wasn't a Christmas gift either. My cousin bought me a bracelet from the money my grandma had given him for the summer holidays. He spent everything just to buy me a bracelet! I told him it was too much but he really wanted to give it to me. I have worn it everyday ever since. However, I like giving gifts more, because you get to make people smile. If I can think think of something really awesome to give someone I care about, I always get really enthusiastic and all warm and fuzzy inside. I believe we live to collect good memories. Making someone smile is always terrific to add to the collection.

Another thing I love about Christmas is the lights. It's winter and it's cold and dark, but when the lights come on it is as if they radiate a bit of cheeriness towards everyone in proximity. They are just beautiful. What I love most are the decorations that blend in with their settings. Rather than big inflatable flickering Santa Clauses everywhere, I prefer trees warped with tiny lights. It looks so elegant, as if the tree itself is glowing.
christmas-light-tree-b08arxr8.jpg

I am also lucky because I wear glasses. That might sound a bit odd, but whenever I want I can take of my glasses, turning all the little lights into big blurry globes. A bit like those pictures on instagram if you like. I guess you could say I have my own build-in blur-filter. ^.^ It can turn everything into a sea of light and colours. I can look at that for hours. To me it also seems as if the lights share a little warmth. As to tell people: “You're welcome here.” And that is the perfect Christmas Spirit, don't you agree? Gorgeous little lights guiding the way, to me that is Christmas.

Finally I'd like to share a short story with you. I hope you'll enjoy reading it!
A different kind of Christmas

It was a cold night. No wonder, it was winter. When I saw the clouds clutter the sky this evening I had hoped for snow. I got icy drizzle. I wasn't sure why I was outside now. I had told myself I would just go for a short walk before dinner, but judging by the inky darkness surrounding me, diner time was already over. Or perhaps it wasn't, the dark came early this time of year. Still I walked on. I knew that, though all the odds were against it, when I came home my sister would be there. I hadn't seen her in years and years. We weren't in contact. But I knew. And I knew I couldn't face her yet. Too much had happened over the course of our lives. Too much had not happened. Somehow, though we grew apart, we had always remained at the verges of each others lives. Lurking. Our bonds unravelled yet still our paths intertwined. She would call it fate. If I had to personify fate I would picture a woman with a tiny needle, slowly carving out a person for living flesh. Cruel, cold and truly beautiful. I could not forgive her.

I was afraid of the dark, but shunned the little lights in the towns heart. I needed the fear now. This intervention of my thoughts was a welcome one. Necessary, even. I pulled out the piece of paper I had crumbled in my pocket. I couldn't read it with the darkness pouring over it like thick liquid, but I knew the words. The shred of this mornings newspaper had roughly shaken up my life. I walked on. The pavement was slippery. The rain had formed plaques of ice beneath my feet. I stopped walking and got a white powder out of my other pocket. In a quick motion I sprinkled it over my shoes. For a moment they glowed up red. I was sure now I wouldn't slip. It was funny how nowadays people didn't even frown when I did this. They were so prepared to assume they knew everything that they always thought it was just 'technology' or that 'maybe they hadn't looked right'. No one in their right mind was going to admit it was magic. I snorted, laughing at myself. I couldn't say I was in my right mind either. My neurons were in disarray and my imagination was running amok. Why would my sister visit me? Why was I even wandering these streets, alone? I felt the paper in my clenched fist. I glanced over my shoulder as if I could hear my house calling me. I sped up my pace. The roads got less broad. I got nearer and nearer to the towns heart where the streets were unusually quiet. I could tell that people were inside, at dinner tables lit with tiny candles. I could hear the chatter and the clinging of the glasses, the scraping of silver forks over porcelain platters. But that was their world. Here, outside in the cold, was mine.

No, I hadn't been to Hogwards. No, I didn't become a wizard because I was a 40 years old virgin. And no, I'm not your, or anyone's father. Magic wasn't all that magical at all. It was just... there. And so was I. And so was she. To me, it seemed as if magic just happened. Without any conscious thought I could turn a light-bulb into a sea of fire and a trickle into a river. They used to say I had talent. Now I believe I was naïve. I should have known that all this youthful grandeur would come to an end. The big flashy magic wasn't all that hard, to me it was mastering a subtle grace, making magic blend in with the world and mould as my own that was the hardest. My sister and I were as night and day. To the simple minded she didn't seem anywhere near as powerful as I was. But while my fireworks got the attention she used her easy poise to spin a web in which we now all dangled.

With a sigh I turned around. I had to either go back now, or get on a plane out of the country, change my name and my face (I knew a rather convenient spell for the latter), learn to walk with a limp and learn Russian, then drink vodka until even I couldn't remember my true identity. Though the thought made me smile, deep down I knew I couldn't walk away from this. And so I set course for my house.

I passed through the streets near my home. It was quiet. It wasn't a restless rummaging rumbling silence though. There was some peace in it that allowed me to breathe. As if I was almost human for the briefest moment. I wonder what made this night so silent. Somehow I felt how within the homes surrounding me people lived their lives too fast, at an unnatural spoiled pace. I got out my lighter. With a flick it's flame soared and with another the lights around me disappeared. Darkness and silence were each others equals. Twins, as brother and sister. Where one threaded it was but natural for the other to follow. I heard some mumbling around me as the people in the houses tried to discern each other, their platters and the light-switch. When they found it there were more sounds and the conclusion it must be a black out. Then, as if the lights inside their heads finally flamed, in the houses surrounding me, one by one, hearths started to glow, candles were lit and sparklers were taken out of their boxes. They might never know, but for that brief moment they were thankful to me. I smiled. With a slight bow I took their round of applause. Then I let the darkness of the night swallow me again.

It felt strange, knocking on my own front door but I knew no other way. I usually unlocked the door with a wave of my hand, but it appeared as if right now the walls would give in sooner than the door. She was there. Besides, my hands were shaking. I was about to knock again when I heard a sound coming from somewhere within the house. The door swung open. She leaned against the doorframe, her hand up high. I writhed my face into an uneasy smile. Hers came naturally. “Brother.” Her blue lips almost spat on the word. I could feel it. Was it cowardice to leave now? I felt dizzy. I turned around. All black.

When I woke up my head was throbbing. I was lying on the couch, my head sunken deep into a pillow. I kept my eyes closed for another moment. How long had I been out? When I couldn't pretend any longer I slowly opened my eyes. For a moment it was dark. Then, suddenly, around me I descried flickering lights, as tiny candles. The room smelled sweetly. Just a few metres away from me stood a great wide-branched fir. She winked at me. Christmas.

Have a wonderful Christmas,

Take care,

Kind Regards,

Dear Swag Bowtie Star,

What I want for Christmas is any Nintendo games I don't already have OR Amazon gift cards to buy a PS4 OR a PS4 :D Any of those would be nice, and all 3 would be a dream come true. xD

I like both giving AND receiving gifts, because I like to give to people because I like making thenm feel happy and seeing their reaction(s), and I like receiving because the people who gave me the gifts probably feel the same way I do when I give, so it's a win-win :D

My favorite thing about Christmas is spending time with my awesome family OPENING SLL THE PRESENTS :vamp: lolno, it's about both :D but my most favorite part is that I can spend time with my family all together and not fight :3

Here is a poem on behalf of me.
The Ginerbread Man (haiku poem)
There once was a
Ginerbread Man called Bob
I ate his face lel :vamp:

Agh I'm so embarrassed by this poem but I gotta just do it xS

Dear, Bowtie Swag Star, I gotta say, that bowtie is very classy of you! :pompus:

In reality, what I want for Christmas is not focused on material things. What I really want is for my family to forget about their worries for the festive season and have a great time! It's been a while since we've gotten together, so I'd like this Christmas to be something to remember~

I'll be honest, I like both receiving and giving gifts, but what I like most of all is giving a gift to someone who least expected it. The surprise and happiness that it gives someone is my favorite part of gifting during Christmas.

My favorite thing about Christmas is getting all my family together on Christmas Eve and having a huge dinner! After that we open all our presents between each other, and leave a few under the tree for Christmas Day. It's become a long tradition with my family, and also been my favorite thing about Christmas since I was a kid!

I'm not that great with poems, but I tried just for you!

Christmas Spirit
The gingerbread family sat quiet by the fire,
truth be told, their situation was dire.
The hearth spluttered with sparks as it failed to light,
ushering the cold from the wintry night.

Bowtie Swag had just lost his job,
no money for presents nor a Christmas tree,
Icey Dressy tried her best to cope,
but at this time of year, nothing was free.

Lil' Fab and Lucy sat close on the sofa,
all they had left was a bottle of soda,
their smiles were naught but ghosts on their face,
Christmas Spirit had left without a trace.

Just as they were to give in to despair,
a loud bang from the fireplace rang in the air,
"Who could that be?", asked Lucy in fear,
"Hold on!" cried Daddy Swag, "Santa is here!"

The air was filled with blackening soot,
as St. Nick walked in with shining black boots.
A warm, white beard adorned his face,
and with wave of his hand, he transformed the place.

Christmas Spirit had returned none to soon,
as Christmas itself fell upon the room.
Trees and presents and ornaments flew,
in the end it created a wonderful view.

The family were agape at this generous gesture,
gratitude radiating without measure.
With a hearty ho-ho-ho, Old Nick escaped,
leaving the family with hope taken shape.

This the story of a gingerbread family,
with hope lost and found with Nick's little gesture.
To share Christmas Spirit to those in need
give a helping hand, a truly gracious deed.

I hope my letter counts for something (is eligible). I put an uncertain amount of creativity into it and the disclaimer. I didn't count how many words I put into it.
Dear Icey Dressy Star,

What I really want for Christmas is a Wii U so I can play all the amazing console games like Super Metroid or Yoshi's Woolly World that the 3ds just can't offer.

I like receiving gifts because you can't enjoy what you don't have.

Receiving gifts from my mother is my favorite part of Christmas because her gifts are the best and my dad gets me things I don't want so he can have them.

Here is a very creative story on behalf of me.

Once upon a time there was a freshman named Billy. There were a lot of people in his school who were stupid and lazy. If it weren't for them he would have gotten all A's first semester. Billy always did his work and got an A on all of his independent work. However, his first period class was a culinary course and all of the assignments were group assignments. Billy was stuck with two juniors: Jonah, the most incompetent person in the entire school, and Ryan, the laziest person in the entire school. When group projects were assigned Billy worked hard but the other two just ate the other groups ingredients even when he told them to stop. They got him a D- on the assignment. So for Christmas, he decided that since neither of them were in the least bit energetic he would bake them some peanut battery cookies made from the highest quality battery acid and peanut butter. They ate the cookies right away and died immediately in the middle of class. "Oh look at that! They are both dead!" the teacher screamed. "I guess they must have worked to hard," Billy responded. Nobody suspected anything different because that is a perfectly reasonable explanation. It was so reasonable that they did not even get autopsies. They were respectively burned in a nuclear reactor. Dead bodies help to reduce radiation. Their bodies glow red and green for Christmas.

The End
Disclaimer: I have never made anyone ingest battery acid. I only have lots of battery so that I can play my Gameboy Advance. This is also not the first time Billy has murdered people. He killed some children a few months ago and locked their bodies in an outhouse. Billy is a completely fictional character. Billy is not a copyright character yet. The disclaimer is not part of the letter. It's for the public. I do write like this for Language Arts.

Lucky Star Jr
This Christmas I wanted to be with my family thankfully I got that,
I do love to get, but I enjoying giving a lot more,
When I was young, Christmas meant Santa gifts and fun,
Now Christmas is not just gifts it's also family..

Poemish :
When we are kids we see Christmas as mainly gifts and candy,
But as we get older we start to see, that family & love is the Christmas Key,
Where the gifts are great and the candy better,
With out our family we be facing dark gloomy weather ..
Love all those that are near,
Embrace the joy and embrace the happy tears,
For ever Christmas that comes every year ..
