Avatar is Chinese & American, so it's not an anime and Zelda is a video game with a couple of shorts made by the US department of Nintendo, so it's not an anime either! Also, lol, couldn't agree more with that pic!:hilarious:

Actually they're still technically anime's :p The proper definition for anime is 'a Japanese style of motion-picture animation'.

By YOUR definition, they AREN'T animes, because they only imitate the Japanese style, but not adopt it! Also, especially for Avatar, it follows nothing anime related! Anime is way too great to compare to such insignificant forms of art like American animations!
