="cloudmario666, post: 432hey dude ocarina of time is by no means everyones favorite zelda it all just depends on your first zelda i probably like majoras mask even more than ocarina of time.Example:eek:ne might like mario bros 3 more than mario 3d land just because it was their first mario.
Ah, you misunderstand, I wasn't suggesting it was everyone's favourite, it was more in a response to the guy that opened the discussion with "This is the best Zelda game yet".

It's the first 3DS game I played that makes me want to keep the 3D on. The effect itself is very solid. Turning it on actually slows the framerate by a hair, but you have to be really paying attention to notice (as a guy that can't stand to play Dead Or Alive: Dimensions with the 3D on because of the framerate drop, believe me, the difference in OoT is absolutely minute), and the game simply looks better with it on. As for playing it, it's mostly better than the N64 version. The small analog stick isn't the best, as my finger occasionally wants to slip off of it if I've been holding a direction for too long, but that could be due to me personally applying too much pressure to it, and even then it's not a major problem. Meanwhile, the touch screen controls for item management, while occasionally throwing me off as I sometimes hit the start button to access the menu out of habit, is actually infinitely superior to the old method, and gyroscope controls for aiming are amazingly precise.

In my opinion, Ocarina of Time 3D is among the best of the Zelda remakes, even if I may have ordered my first copy off of eBay and have it turn out to be an empty carried box...:dead:. eBay failures aside, however, the graphical improvements as well as the myriad gameplay improvements really helped to seal the deal with this one.
