The Super Mario 64 HD Remake! (By Fans)

It's definitely looking good so far. I really like the textures for the trees, ground, castle, flowers, water, everything looks so polished and it really does seem that the devs are putting a lot of effort into the remake. Mario's wall jumping animation looks great but the sound that comes out of his running/footsteps is kinda annoying. But then again, the project is nowhere near finished. I really do hope that the remake will be a success since I really enjoyed the original N64 version of the game.

You wouldn't buy the HD remake by fans, because that would be copyright by the devs, it would be free to play.

Oh...yeah, I would buy it if it were made by Nintendo too, SM64 is a great game.

Props to the person who made this, really, really fantastic job, I think that if he were to make that into an actual game, or if nintendo were to reinvent the game, they should employ him as the lead co-ordinator. Only drawback I thought was that, the character models were to shiny, if he used the models from Galaxy/2 they would've shown off a more nintendo vibe.
