Wait. Mew is a pokemon. How do you create the Pokémon universe if Pokémon already existed in the "real universe"?

That is because the original Mew was a slightly more intelligent cat with pink (albino) fur. Mewtwo saw his "mother", and created s/he in the original game as being the rarest of them all.

The manga isn't even close to the regular storyline of the anime and games. Manga is not in picture with this conspiracy.

Sorry, but most theories and conspiracies are derived from the games and the manga, not the anime, and for good reason. The anime is too inconsistent with pretty much everything that has happened.

^this. Manga is the raw creation of a series which later is adapted into anime. That's why I mostly read Rawly translated manga.

True for most instances, but not so for Pokemon. As far as I know, the Anime and the Manga are set in different realities (Though I am sure someone has come up with theories that they are both in the same universe, upon the same planet).

It's a nice theory but I don't think it will ever be true because it creates a plot hole. In the games and the anime Mewtwo wasn't created long ago. Keyword he was created. Mewtwo was created as a clone of mew to create the ultimate weapon to take over the world . In fact, even Arceus didn't create everything as it was the Mew species that transformed into the pokemon that we see today . Thank you Mew.

Well, if you read the theory, Mewtwo was made in an alternate universe (ours) and then made the Pokeverse, therefore allowing this to happen twice.

This theory cannot work. It was Arceus who formed the Pokemon world if you watch the first Pokemon movie you will see the humans CREATED Mewtwo, not the other way around. Mewtwo is a genetically modified pokemon therefore it could not have existed in the times when the world was first being formed. It is a good theory though, but this is true.

Anyway, I believe it was definitely Arceus who formed the Pokemon universe. It's kinda weird though because apparently Bulbasaur is the first Pokemon ever but Arceus formed the world making him the first Pokemon. I'm so confused. :/
