things that drive me crazy that happen too often

I'm American, and he's Russian. He moved to the US to learn English. When I met him, he seemed very shy. He had spent most of his time in Russia but told me he wanted to learn English and wanted a better life so he moved here. But he told me things actually got rougher for him, and people made fun of him a lot (and still do from what I've seen) becsuse he was and still is trying to learn what standard english is. This made it very hard for him to make friends, I imagine. I actually feel bad for the poor guy because he has a learning disability, and all of these people who have been making fun of his English have left him feeling very angry. I got a feeling this actually left a lasting impact on him, based on his personality now and the fact that he is very short-tempered.

Oh he's Russian I see now why he gets angry easily and is short tempered. Well my heritage is Russian and many of the Russian traits have been passed down in my family for many generations including myself. I could see how it's hard for him to learn English and it is understandable he has anger issues since that's how Russia is.
