Video games don't make you violent

Violence has always occurred waaay before video games were around. People just like to blame many things on violent acts - Guns, Video games, movies/tv shows, drugs, ect. The Australian government doesn't allow GTA V be sold there because of all the violence and controversy that's associated with it, which to me is plain ridiculous. Restricting games, if great enough, will only cause people to protest. >.>

Of course video games doesn't make you violent. I've played game like Mortal Kombat Trilogy, Mortal Kombat 4, and Grand Theft Auto Advance and to this day, I rather choose a life of non-violence. Of course, there are some factors that may affect how games can influence people.

Quite literally z it's only the player that it's up to to tell the difference between fiction and reality. Someone was accused of murder just because he plays violent video games. He was not the murderer and the true phelon didn't even know what a console was. Violent video games for me help me relieve my stress by taking out my anger on "fictional characters". I also have common sense not to do that stuff in real life. Scientist are stupid.
