Well I had many viruses, that couldn't be fixed without a passcode, not even a factory reset worked. I ended up taking out the battery selling it, and then destroyed the lap top, the burnt it, the three it away. That's how mad I got...

lol, I always fall for them stupid adware browser hijacking prgrams. I always think I'm downloading the right thing, next thing I know it's an .exe >.>

It's easy to get rid of, but Idk why i keep falling for it. I'm really naive for my age. I don't remember the last virus I had though. Ever since I learned to torrent anti virus and stuff,c my Pc's been safe ever then, and I do a monthly clean so my pc stays up to date, and clean the registry and defrag to keep speed.

The only virus I remember that messed up my computer was this AIM(Aol Instant Messenger) virus that my friend sent me. He got caught by it, and it automatically sent it to everyone on his friend's list. It messed my whole pc up. Sometimes my pc wouldn't even start. Had to completey reset my computer, and install windows XP again.

I use McAfee and MalwareBytes. After using those services, I don't get a single virus. *I use windows!*

It are mostly installers I download and that come through my AVIRA scanner and then give me a virus. 4 hours later i got it removed, so it isn't such a big deal, it make me skillfuller to remove them

I don't know what had happened to the computer which I am on right now but when I tried to log into it a time it said user profile deleted and I was a little mad but later my bro knew a friend and he fixed it for me,he deleted everything on my laptop though.I don't know what it was a virus or something else but I hope I don't encounter it again.

Yeah, I've had a few.

When I was younger and not that experienced with technology my laptop was a goldmine for hackers. I remember getting a trojan horse that prevented me from opening my browser, some malware that claimed that I committed a criminal offence and that I had to pay x amount of money before my device would be "unlocked" by the hackers and I remember falling asleep watching anime only to wake up to my java plugins being violated by some threat.

At the time I used to use internet explorer which had a lot of vulnerabilities and I knew nothing of the likes of Malwarebytes or even MS essentials.

Thankfully I don't have those problems now (and hopefully never will again.)

I am currently being plagued by the likes of many viruses, that just keep coming and coming. I used Malwarebytes, so it ran a scan, found an absurd number of things, and I quarantined them. Five seconds later, they're back. Maybe I'll just take it to a professional or something...
