I haven't read up much about the rumors surrounding a possible Nintendo Switch Pro console, but the way @Sky mentioned it packing more of a punch in terms of power in this thread got me thinking:
do you think the rumoured switch pro will be as powerful as maybe the ps4?
Maybe as the original PS4, but likely won't reach the PS4 pro's levels.
I can't imagine Nintendo bringing out a pro console to its Nintendo Switch that's going to be as powerful as the PlayStation 4. Or maybe I'm just ignorant to the differences between the power of the PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch.

I certainly wouldn't want to see exclusive games for the Nintendo Switch Pro, when I already have the original.

What would you like to see from a possible Nintendo Switch Pro if Nintendo decides to make it a reality? :eyes:

1080p screen for mobile, then 4K or 1440p docked, Bluetooth support for headphones, 144hz refresh rate possibly :p

BETTER CONTROLLERS. D:
Seriously, I think the Switch overall is fine, but my one big complaint is that annoying drift. ;-; I hope they make better ones to accompany it. Please.. :(

Maybe making a "docked only" switch might be a thing, since there's a handheld only one. Would allow it to be a bit more powerful, no battery life then.

I damn hope there wouldn't be any "pro only" games though. I think I'll just give up on nintendo fully if that happens, it's only been a couple years since the switch came out, way too early to start to force people to upgrade.

Microsoft said that there won’t be any Xbox one x exclusives, so I hope that remains the same for nintendo

the chances of them making pro only games are slim but not impossible. like super mario kart was a new 3ds system exclusive for some reason. hopefully they dont do the same thing. in my opinion i don't think a docked only switch is a good idea since the only reason that the switch is being preferred over ps4 and x box is for exclusive games and portable play. if there is no portable play, the only thing that would stand out from switch pro compared to other consoles is the exclusive games and thats it. people might go for an even more powerful console because ps5 and x box x are more powerful and they are "dock only" too. nintendo is probably going to keep the switch pro as portable AND dock only but a little bigger and better.

It wasn’t just super Mario Kart, it was all snes games, because apparently “the original 3ds didn’t have enough processing power” or something like that.

lol. the snes games are too much for the 2ds to handle. the graphics can't be processed by the 2ds.

Isn't the graphics. It's to do with processing power. Also, isn't just the "2ds".

the processing power is the lamest excuse nintendo could possible give.

I mean, the newer generation of 2/3ds has a better processing power than the older ones, not by much sure, but it is an actual difference.

I doubt they'd do something like "pro exclusives" unless sony or microsoft did. Especially when you consider they launched an online "service". But hey, nintendo is known to do their own thing, so who knows
