What if Super smash bros got rated 18+ on the pegi information what would the game be like?

If smash bros was rated 18+ I think that there will be loads and loads of blood in it. I also think that there will be much dangerous weapons such as a chain saw and stuff. I also think that the attacks would be more dangerous that can make a lot of blood come out. Even if smash bros were to be 18+ I would still get the game.

That'd be cool I guess, but Nintendo would NEVER place Mario or related characters in a PEGI 18 (M) game...the closest a character's game from Smash was Samus Aran in Metroid: Other M, which was PEGI 16 (T). ;)

I'd really not like that. With blood and gore the smash game would be out of the context what brought it up, a fighting game relying on knockback to smash your opponents out of the stage. With the game having actual guns relating to IRL, most people would hate the game completly :p

I honestly think some of ya'll are trippin' when you say the violence will be next to or on par with the violence of Mortal Kombat. There's no way it would be. Yes, there will be some level of violence but nothing intense. Apparently, in Brawl, the fighter were to show damage during battles which a template of Falcon and Meta Knight's helmet and mask showing crack(s) and Link sword showing wear. But unlike MK IX/X, we shouldn't expect missing eyes or muscles and bones showing. Gashes maybe, a little bit of blood. Definitely torn clothing. Zero Suit Samus would probably be sexualized more than she is and Peach and Zelda may have some "expansion" (DoA: XBV physics, amirite). I can't think of anything else that would go.

Well i don't think it would be THAT more violent than mortal kombat, but it could probably be up there with the different characters that are in smash bros and how the whole game would be altered to where there is blood, the girls of the smash bros game would show way more skin and no girl would be in a dress, you would probably hear a lot more vulgar language in the game and game play and maybe some ripped body parts or broken bones and blood splatters and people get really hurt when using the smash ball and maybe something related to drug use but that would be a lot of steps up from the game it is now and the whole entire game line would be changed, the communities would be changed and the commercials and the way its shown to the public and who buys it and looks to see if its safe would all change, parents would think twice before buying the game (maybe) and the people who made it probably would be some different developers who are known for making more gruesome games may even be related to mortal kombat and different character cross overs

Lol that reference. :p

Has anyone thought that the fighting system would be totally changed? Like 1 v 1 or something?

Maybe but this what if SSB4 was M not what if Smash became a MK clone with alterations.

This is a good time to remember that Brawl was rated T. I have no idea why, probably because of ZSS but it still seems rather strange for it to get such a mature rating.

ZSS, Peach's panties and masterhand had blood on the glove also taboo was a bit creepy for little kids

I'm pretty sure Brawl was T because Melee was T (because of the fact that Nintendo characters are beating the heck out of each other)
Then again, Melee was out before E10+ existed... so maybe the violence + the dark tone in a lot of Subspace Emissary scenes + Snake's guns (I really think Snake had a lot more to do with the rating than other factors)

Edit: As for how Smash would be if rated M? I think bone-crunching sfx and characters getting bloodied as battle progresses could help, but it's hard to keep it as Smash while still using actual Nintendo stages/characters.

Also, more angry Kirby

Just imagine what a sadist monster jigflypuff would become... It really gives me the chills.

There would be lots of gore with swordsman. Charizard would cause first degree burns. Characters would probably be disembodied before they got out of the stage.

Imagine if Super smash bros got rated 18+ what would the game be like?

I think that the game would be more violent than any other violent game.Even more violent than mortal combat.

I think if Smash was Pegi 18, The Game would probably add Guns!- Wait, Nope, they've done that anyway. Well... Maybe Bombs!- Oop, Hold on, there are already like, at least 3 of those... How about Scary Jumpscares!- Wait Nintendogs, Assisst Trophey, They already do that... Maybe they could include charcters from other fighting games like...! Oh... Right... Ryu... with the DLC's, and the what not... WAIT! I GOT IT! It hasn't been used before! How about... Naked Mode! That ought to get it up to Pegi 18 Lickity Split! Other than the Fact that it would be completely gross... Make it a game you can't EVER play with family, and make it socially uncomfortable to be around ANYONE while playing.... *Siiiigh*

Just to let anyone know, a lot of people thought it was a good idea to have a Pokemon-themed Monster Hunter game. Think about the concept of killing and skinning Pokemons to make yourself armor and weapons out of their body parts.

Also, the closest that Mario has been in a M-rated game was an easter egg in Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes. You can even shoot his head to make the 1-up sound.

Everyone would go apes- wait, this is a kid friendly forum. In all seriousness, I probably wouldn't be allowed to buy Smash if it was rated M in the first place. It'd probably be the same as it is now, but with gore and Final Fatalities. Oh, and Bayonetta wouldn't be censored. That'd be cool.

At first, I would think that if it became 18+, then the Final Smash would be the Fatality equivalent to Mortal Kombat. Also, each slice from a sword or punch from Little Mac (IF IT LANDS) would produce a lot of blood and also when the person is clapping the victor, there would definitely be a broken fighter on the side lines, also moves from heavier characters would be much more brutal and cause the fighter to suffer from excruciating pain. Other than that, I couldn't see more that Nintendo could do to make it 18+

To make the game more violent, you would need blood and more guns. Also more harsh attacks
