What was the stupidest thing you have seen in online matches?

I allways get mad when i'm at my last life in the battle and people just jump with me as i fall to my death. IT annoys ME OFF SO MUCH! Its like they think
im a joke. then i choose to go hard and they exit the lobby like...Why??? And that is the thing that bothers me so much. 99.9% of the time these are the spamming players that do these type of things.

One time I was playing on the Sonic Lost World stage and this guy using an Olimar tried to go under the stage and come up out of the other side. The bounce pad instantly pushed him to his death ._. I had a good laugh.

Me and this person on for glory 1v1 t bagged each other violently and crouched and crawled backwards into the other player while one of us t bagged behind them and we did this for like a solid 2mins it seems until eventually I got kicked from the game for idling.

people who play kirby and donkey kong just grab and or swallow you, then jump off XD

Yeah.... not the smartest thing unless youare really going to go kamikaze all up on that guy.



Mine was on the Pikmin stage on Smash Brothers Brawl, I was playing as Squirtle and the others were, Link, Ike, and Mario. Well who ever Mario was kept getting knocked off the stage and attacked by Link. So Mario would grab Link and spin and toss Link into the mouth of the creature that walks up (I forgot its name) but Link would either never get eaten or jump back onto the stage, well the next time it walked up Mario kicked Link at the creature but he didn't go very far, Mario toward Link and he dodged Mario by circling behind him and Link kicked Mario into the creatures mouth causing him to be eaten.

The other one actually happened yesterday, I was playing with someone who was Captain Falcon and I was Olimar I would throw Pikmin at him and of course they would latch onto him and start hitting him, instead off shaking them off or keep fighting he'd jump off the stage an KO!

The first one was kind of stupid, you launch them out of the stage, not retelling Joseph and the whale! The second one is stupid too.

I don't own Super Smash Bros. but I have played with my friend's game card and I have seen some absurd stuff. I saw a Kirby trying to suck me up and then spit me out of the stage, a Link that thought that he could one shot me with the bow then suicide (We both had 1 live left and he wanted to look cool XD)I may be a n00b at the game but at least I didn't do these things XD

Every other person online is a idiot, remember that. And them jumping on you? That is what up+B recovery is for!

I once fought a Charitard ohh excuse me a Charizard who spammed his side special, Dragon Rush and he SD'd both times I mean come on and then he switched to Dark pit and spammed his side special there too so yeah very punishable..:cat:

the worst thing i've ever seen happen (no, dumbest) on wifi was on brawl when someone was using kirby, used the inhale to copy ganondorfs ability, and then kept using the nuetral special, but not even trying to hit anyone.... just spamming... the worst part was that i saw this in spectator mode and used gold on this guy! talk about a waste!

Of all the characters I have played as, it is always the side-B that gets you at risk for SD. I think that it would be funny if someone spammed up-b recovery, even though they are not in harms way!

HA. Neutral b spammers? I bet this was his first time online at the time. I bet move spammers could use Play Nintendo's
"How to win at smash" series. Good for newcomers too! But spamming special makes you look stupid. You might as well spam aerial up smash (cough cough @cobman456 cough cough).

Yeah... might as well. I have yet to see someone spamming with a different move. although, i won't lie. i can actually see myself choosing a character like kirby and using inhale and then going off the stage, lol im not too good, that's one reason why i'd do that.

Stupid things often happen during sudden death.

I wa JigglyPuff (as usual) and my friend was Kirby. He got kicked out and I was 1 vs 2 at 300%. I went to an edge and shielded. Their strategy was the stupidest ever:
-do not attack both at once, come one by one
-do not grab while I shield, do a dash attack
So I just grabbed and threw them backwards, one after the other :p

Another time, still 2v2 and still sudden death, I managed to get an opponent out. Then, Kirby and the other one were fighting and Kirby back dodged after trying a lot of approaches. In the meantime, I was dashing through the map, with no strategy, and I did a dash attack (you know, the ugly faceplant that JigglyPuff does). It worked.

There was also a weird guy I was dueling once. He was Link and I was teh Puff. We did three matches. For each match, the Link loses a stock without giving me more than 25% (exact figures were 13%, 23% and 16%), then self destructs. Why ? I mean, why keep playing if it's to ragequit during the match then keep playing ? Why not just ragequit completely ??

Meta Knight's drilling of the edge, Pikachu's Skull bashing off the edge, and allot of others jumping off the edge with bad timed moves. Also Shielding when having a tiny bubble I just break them. And finally spammers, spamming every move and it's annoying...

it is annoying. luckily for me it has only happened on brawl, but somebody i ran into was using kirby's inhale and walking off the stage with a player in his mouth. talk about noob tactics! this is just off the wall... and annoying...

In a 2v2 'For Glory' match in Smash Bros. Wii U, my partner continued to try and fight me the entire time, even though I obviously had the same color icon above my head as he did. I really, really hope he was colorblind. I don't think he did any damage at all to the enemies. .-.

oh no! well that's a waste... but what would a person who is colorblind be doing playing video games? i dont see how they could do it very well... i would sure hope the same thing you did if i were in that situation. very unfortunate...

i saw spammers, and taunt spammers, and i kill myself DERP, and myself. once i played capt. falcon and was smashed of the stage the i pressed down + b. i died. and meta knight. what should i say (side + b). that where my stupiest moments in smash online

... when i am playing with my cousins for fun i swallow them and jump of the stage and die with them it makes me laugh so much!

So far, how I try to do the 'Jump, then Down+A' attack with Zero Suit Samus and end up self-destructing by falling off the stage is the stupidest thing I've seen. Me. :( Well, I have only played a few matches so far! :p

LOL That has happened to me countless times as well, just don't get used to that attack. I find down-B to be better as it has horizontal recovery, more controlability, as well as a powerful meteor effect.

The worst thing I've seen is people doing...nothing. Yes, nothing. I battled a player who just pressed A over and over and over again. No shields, rolls, blocks, smashes, or recoveries! He had a Lucario, which is one of the floatiest characters in game. I grabbed him, threw him off the stage, still keeps pressing A. Falls to his doom. Repeat. GG no re .-.
