What was your first contact with the Pokemon world?

My first contact with the pokemon world was when i was six and my brother gave me all of his pokemon cards...... He literally had like 2000 pokemon cards. Anything from magikarp to dragonite he had. They were all original gen 1 pokemon cards... The good old days. The link cable lol. Would go to school and trade with everyone and battle every single day. Pokemon was my life back then. And i still enjoy playing it now!

I learned about Pokemon when I turned on my TV to watch a Bakugan Battle Brawlers episode. The next thing you know, I'm seeing Team Rocket's hotel falling down! Talk About shock!

I started my Poke-venture when I was about 9 My aunt had brought me a Ds and with it a copy of Soul Silver. I adored it! I would play and play and play (And try to beat Red with my all 60's team). I had a Typhlosion which I leveled up to lv.100 and finally beat Red Then I became dissolved in the Pokemon Franchise, didn't watch the Pokemon series though, cause it was in my local language

It still comes on the T.V; Johto adventures...Anyways, from there I started playing all the latest games as they got released. \o/

I started mine when I was five or six when I first saw the anime. I loved how the Pokémon looked and I thought the show was really entertaining (mostly because Brock and Misty not to mention Team was so cool back then). I even got to play Red and all the games that followed.

I even collected plushes and cards too (I won a stack in school from a bingo game class assignment). Time jump to 2016 and I still love the series. Unlike other series which I fell in love with and soon got over Pokémon hasn't left me. Though I think my mom wants me to be done with it.

It was on Fox kids (later named JETiX later named Disney XD (<--that's not a smiley, that's an actual part of the name)) and I watched an episode every now and then. I didn't play the games until I was already 12 years old.
