White forest gave you more Pokemon!
I didn't like the idea of just battling in a smogy and gross city. xD I've seen the trailers for Black city! It's gross there!

You missed one of the best Fire starters Infernape was just op, be it in speed, Atk and Sp. Atk.

Yeah, most people tend to choose Totodile or Cyndaquil. I don't think I've ever considered using Chikorita :? It should have had a second type considering that it was the weakest.

Well I didn't because Chikorita is weak against the first two gyms and it could hurt your chances.

I've never really cared about the the Gyms. Plus I recall that in Gold you could trade a Bellsprout for an Onix in the town with the first Gym.
