What's your favourite Nintendo console

What are your opinions on Nintendo's consoles? Which do you think is the best console Nintendo has ever made?
I'm not considering the NES due to it being a bit too dated and I consider the Gameboy Color and the original as practically the same console.

Consoles are like the NES, SNES, Wii, and Wii U. Handhelds are like the Gameboy, DS, and 3DS. System is the preferred word. The Gamecube and the Wii are tied for my favorite (heck their insides are almost the same), however I might say the Wii U is my favorite later down the line for the HD graphics. As far as handhelds go it is the 3DS ftw because of the backwards compatibility thanks to the Virtual Console. I wish I had virtual console titles on my Wii however it doesn't compare to the GCN Advance which reads GBA games (and perhaps others if I tried using them like say the GBC games). The Wii was innovative and had high quality graphics however the GCN invented asymmetric gaming with Pac Man Vs. and Four Swords.

They're all sold as consoles here, so I got used to it. But yeah, the title is somewhat misleading.

I personally preferred the DS over all other systems for its technological advancement over the GBA and all otehr existing systems. Games like TWEWY and Mario Kart DS are some of the best games ever made.

My favorite is currently the Nintendo 3DS because of its large game library. The Wii U might have taken its place if it had more roleplaying games that sparked my interest or if retail Wii games could have been purchased from the Nintendo eShop and could have been played using the GamePad.

I like the n64 it gives me a nostalgic thoughts which are just amazing! And my favorite game is Ocarina of Time, which is on the n64 and the 3ds... Still 3DS would have to be my second fave console

I'll go with the GBA. It had a massive and impressive library of games, some of which were old game remakes with improved graphics. Zelda, Mario, Yu-Gi-Oh, Megaman games, you name it.

I like them all including NES so i choose them all . I dont think i could choose one console which is my favorite i like the 3ds a lot but the Game-boy color was my first so i like it a lot also So i just say they are all awesome (except the virtual boy)

Hrmm... I guess I choose the 3DS, though it was a tossup between that and the GBA. Though I do have some nostalgia ties with games like B-Daman-Fire Spirits and Yu-gi-oh! The Sacred Cards, I prefer being able to take an entire library of games with me, downloaded on the system, to only having access to one or two at a time with the GBA. The 3DS library is also pretty good, being able to take full console games (and console quality games) on the go like SSF4, OOT3D, RE:R, and soon to be SSB3D.

The DS is my favorite Nintendo system. I always been more of a hand held gamer. This hand held had some of the best first and third party games. There were lot of hidden gems on this system. Plus you can play all of your favorite GBA games on it too. I have over 50 titles for this system , so yes it's clearly my favorite.

Your poll is missing the best Nintendo console ever: The Virtual Boy. Not really. My favorite console was the snes. It had a lot of great games like Super Metroid, Mega Man X1-3, Super Mario World, and Link to the Past. I could keep listing but I don't feel like listing every single great game on the snes. It also had a great controller

My favorite console is the NES. I have not actually played a NES but I have played a lot of NES games like metroid, kid icarus, Mario, donkey Kong, excitebike,wario's woods, and more and they are so fun. That is why the NES is my favorite console.

The only nintendo console i have are ds lite and 3ds. Obviously i will choose 3ds as my best nintendo console because its game library is full fun and very entertaining games.

Idk. I'm having a blast with my 3DS right now, and never bought so much games in my life. Hard to beat the fun I had with the Gamecube/GBA/DS games.

I guess I'll say it's a tie between 3DS/DS because they introduced me to some of my favorite games like Rune Factory etc.
I miss the gamecube though. All those summer nights with Melee and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.

Its the 3ds for me even though I have played the Gameboy and ds aleady,I would say 3ds beats all of them that are there,i mean the games and controls are better than all of the rest of consoles that are there.

Well, what a question you make! I think my favourite one is the snes, it is the console that drove me into games. I mean it was the console in which I started to feel the love for games, the need to play. I still remember my firsts games on that console and I warmly remember them. I also love upcoming consoles, but the snes is something special to me.

my is a 3ds because it has good games that I really like and it has a good graphics also because it has miiverse also because when you went to a place you can take it with you and for themes also it has sleep mode and sleep mode can save your battery and you it had a daily activity 1000 step and I can edit my picture in 3ds camera that's why 3ds is my favourite.

Tbh, I like all the Nintendo consoles. If I had to choose one, I'd most likely say the 3DS is my favorite console because the 3DS has quite a variety of fun games and the 3DS has the use of 3D. The 3DS was a great console overall, and will stay as one of my favorites.

Honestly, I love all the consoles Nintendo made, even the ones I haven't tried. They all were good and had a large library of games. I can't choose one.
