When you first played Pokemon...

I was about 5-6 and my adorable little kid self be like: THIS GAME IS AMAZEBALLS. Whenever i critical hinted i remember thinking: what the heck is a cactus hit? And of course, like all little kids do, i plowed through the game with overpowered pokemon and always lost when it came to strategic terms.

I tried to ninja past trainers and hardly caught more than six Pokémon in LeafGreen and struggled at the Elite Four because of the minimalistic battle style.. I actually resorted to using legendaries.

I played Pokemon Crystal for the first time when I was 13-14. I remember going crazy about the game because it was like my own anime story. All them feels!

When I first got Pokemon Diamond, I played it 3 hours straight. It was so interesting and I was really excited to catch some Pokemon. I remember a sequence where the rock gym leader mentions an Onix and I spent hours trying to get it. I then proceeded to destroy the rock type gym leader before saving and taking a break for the day. What a pleasant memory.

My first game was Fire Red. I didnt even understand how to even play the game properly at that time. I dint even know how to ev train and iv train a pokemon. Infact I started EV and IV training in pokemon Y. xD

My first Pokemon game was The Pikachu edition, Now I have played almost all Pokemon games so far but never in the right order lol...
Pikachu Edition was the key to loving Pokemon, and because of this game Pikachu is forever my most favored, adored Pokemon of all time! Back then this kinda game for me and my brother was a big thing for once my Gameboy had a game that had so much content, if I didn't have school, chores, rollerblading and biking outside, I would of spent hours on it.. that time period to me was like the best thing ever!
Catch these cute little monsters with the bonus of a Pikachu tagging behind you yup that was pure gold for me ^-^

If I remember correctly, I was around 10 years old the first time I played Pokémon, it was the red version (not the fire red, but the original one) and I thought it was awesome. It was around the same time as when the other girls at school had tamagotchi, and I had pokémon, and got bullied for it (it was way before playing video games was sort of not that "uncool") but I still enjoyed it anyway. I started to draw pokémons, collect trading cards, watch the animes, even my mom enjoyed me seeing having a good time with them.

So many years later, I still crave for new pokémons each time a new game comes out, and I miss these cartoon (the first 2 seasons I think).
