Which Character is Better? Pit or Dark Pit??

Despite the fact that they are clones and also have identical movesets, I have to go with Pit on this one. His upperdash arm is better than Dark Pit's and also has a better final Smash than Dark Pit. Even though Dark Pit is stronger than Pit, he cant copy that upperdash arm no matter what.

Well, I can't really tell the difference between the two characters. Well I think that Dark Pit is better because his moves have more knockback/Ko ability than Pit's, despite being slower in comparison. Dark Pit is still fast but that his speed is reliable.

Dak Pt because he has stronger attacks even though they are the excactly the same I just like his design in this game. He has a scary look when he wins and looks like a freaking boss when the victory screen pops up

Dark pit is better since he's more of a cool looking, he's more serious than pit, and his moves are stronger, unlike pit that focus on speed but his final smash is nice although i hate that dark pit's final smash is the same final smash as Sheik and Zelda. Dark pit Is better in smash you can be the fastest in the game. Dark pit is stronger and his speed is still moderate. Pit on the Other hand is still weak and while dark pit has the better taunts pits voice acting and taunts make him sound like a douche

I would say that they are both pretty much just the same. They are pretty equal in terms of power, but pit is a little faster. I can see why people pick dark pit, however, because he looks cool compared to regular pit. Both of them are just pretty solid characters overall for the great game of smash bros.

I mostly just play as Link or Mario, and I don't have the New Smash Bros., besides the demo, so I haven't played Dark Pit.

Pit has better mobility which is both good and bad. It's bad because his Fair doesn't fully finish and instead it falls straight through opponents while Dark Pit's slows down so all of the move hits and Dark Pit is a little less mobile but make up for it in knockback. If you can play one of these characters you can generally play the other fine but if your facing Sheik you would like Pit better or Dark Pit if you can get the reads better. You can do more with Pit's arrows as a distraction but Dark Pit's arrows are sort of like a slower version of Falco's blaster so you can use that to cancel out moves as well but I doubt you'll get any damage off because it's easy to react to it.
