Which Region would you start your Pokemon Journey?

I think I'd go for Sinnoh. I just think it's my favorite region. That, and I love that lil' Chimchar

Hoenn, I'm currently going through Pokemon Emerald, and I love it so far. I like the Pokemon, like Jirachi, Camerupt, and Cacturne.

Ahh yes I remember those good old days of Pokemon Emerald version ...yeah they were great ^^ I totally understand why you would pick it XD

Isn't Hoen where secret bases started? That would be kind of cool to start you journey in Hoen, and you can use secret power to create a place you can sleep in, and not have to pay money for a hotel or anything.

Then boom! out of nowhere your rival ends up there, and he wants to battle you.

Which region? I guess I'll pick Hoenn, because it's got secret bases, a nice tropical climate, tons of water routes, and BLAZIKEN!!!!

I prefer to start in kanto .cause it is the beginning of all pokemon started from bulbasaur which can get there. Trough kanto go to johto and then hoenn ,sinnoh ,unova lastly kalos.. Wonder what next region gonna be??

I started my journey in pokemon yellow but sometime later I noticed that there was a fire red that time and It actually didn't belong to me just borrowing pokemon yellow

I know you didn't ask but actually the first game I owned were rom hacks like one was naranja and this other one I don't remember

Kalos, since it's inspired from the France (where I live), so, I think the choice is quite obvious on this one... Though trying to compare Kalos and France is quite hard (when you look at the maps).
Otherwise, I would have picked Johto. I started Pokémon during Gen 2, and I really loved Johto. Also, Kanto is just next to Johto, so you get two regions for one !

My favourite is Hoenn because I love the pokemon. I don't care about everything what I miss, I would probably just hang out at Dewford town and let my Mudkip fight

I'll have to be Orre. It just has more personality than the handheld games. And who doesn't want an Eeveelution or two fighting at their side as well as a chance to get the Johto starters (with Special moves).

I'd start my journey in the Kanto region, due to the fact that it is the original, the classic, and actually the region I started playing Pokemon. Kanto is so nostalgic with its music, the battles, etc.

It's also the most overrated and hyped region ever next to current gen.

I would say probably Hoenn because practically half of the region is water and the other half is land. I absolutely love the ocean and seas and lakes. Everything water is amazing(no surprise that my favorite type is water). It would be a great way to introduce me to the world of pokemon because I'll be around things that I love which will give me better and more enjoyable experiences as a pokemon trainer.

I want to start in Veilstone city in The Sinnoh Region. This region has my favorite legendary pokemon like dialga and palkia. Giratina is the best of all. I like Arceus as my favorite mythical pokemon in Sinnoh.
