Who is the face of Super Smash Bros?

So when you see Super Smash Bros, Link is the most visible character, but Mario is always the first character to show up on the character selection, while the Master Hand has always been the common enemy. Who is the main character of Super Smash Bros?

There are multiple in my opinion Mario is one of the main faces and link is also one of the main faces of super smash bros. and kirby is also another of the faces of smash bros. pikachu of course that mouse is the main face of smash too! Samus is one of the main faces and of course master hand and crazy hand. I dont know if you would call these the main faces but they are definitly ones to be considered just think of the ones in the pre-release screenshots and look at the ones who are released in the begining also smash 64 could help answer almost every charachter to pick in that game other than the unlockables are to be considered main faces of smash.

Master hand is the main character. He's the one who's controlling the fighters basically, so it would make sense if he's the main character

In all honestly, I think the smash ball is. It has appeared on every single game's cover and title screen. Even if smash ball didn't exist in Smash 64 or Melee, the logo consisted of it, and Brawl and Melee had that ball's crosses drawn across it. A specific character in the roster or in the game doesn't represent the series, I think the smash ball itself does that job just well.

In general I think of Mario or Kirby since they were on the front of SSB for the 64 and the game plays like one from Kirby but Master Hand has always been recognizable as well. But I like to think Master Core's orb form is the main smash rep or "face".

Mario because he appears in every Super Smash Bros title and Link because he appears in every super smash title along with pikachu. Also the smashball because its very important and it has smash also master hand because mater hand is samurai playing with his toys (the fighters) well I think this is true the game theorists made that

I'd say Captain Falcon. His franchise sort of died. but he is still there in Smash, people were upset not to see him among the first announced characters, then hyped when he came back, etc.

Mario honestly I mean he's in the tutorials he's like the first one to show up in the intro and he has 2 parts of Mario game names in the title. Super and Bros. I mean if anyone is the face of smashit's him. He's like the default guy for everything. We need someone to be this character in the tutorial? Make it Mario! IDK It makes sense to me at least of course why Kirby isn't the face, I'll never know.

Guys, it's obviously Captain Falcon. He represents Smash Bros the best, in my opinion. Think about it, Smash Bros is a homage to video games, whether they're mainstream or obscure and F Zero is underrated to the casual audience. And Smash tends to bring old and obscure Nintendo franchises into the fray. And Falcon also represents the insanity of Smash. It is impressive that Sakurai made a move set for Falcon. His games doesn't contain any fighting and C. Falcon shows Sakurai's insane creativity the best, in my opinion. Falcon has also appeared in all the Smash games.

Well, actually you can all be right. Captain falcon is the face of the smash bros fan base bringing hype into the game. However, that can't be relied on as it was Link who basically made everyone start hating tier list.

I think that there are four faces of Smash bros. We talk about intros and stuff but I'm going to say every game.

In the first game there was no one as the game concept is new to everyone. In melee, mario, link , Pikachu, and Kirby are the faces. Look at it they start and end me lee's over the top intro. Represent brawls changes from mêlée in a video and literally take up 4 ' s intro

I don't think there is any main character. But I guess the Master Hand, in a way. Since he's controlling them. Although there is no offical plot of the series to my knowledge. So I'll just say that I don't know. Mayne Mario?

I'd say Mario. Whenever I think of smash, or any game that is affiliated with 'Nintendo' Mario comes to mind. He's the poster child of Nintendo, just as Pikachu is the mascot for the Pokemon franchise. Mario is first on the smash roster and his whole mushroom kingdom buddies make up a good porion of the roster. He's always a 'good' fighter in smash as well. Not the best, but you can tell the developers made him easy to use and just a fun character in general. If not Mario then Captain Falcon is the other obvious face of smash. When someone mentions Smash Bros. I hear 'Falcoo........PAWNCH' in the distance... lol

In my opinion, I think that the Smash Symbol best represents the "Super Smash Bros" series mostly because you generally can't judge it on a character since each character has their own respective franchises. the Smash Symbol is already quite enough for a person to recognize it as Smash but they might think differently if it were a character that represented the series.

Every character in the game is the face of Smash. The entire concept is dozens of franchises coming together into one game. No one character is the face of it.
