Will Pikachu be replaced as the Pokemon mascot?

Lately there have been more and more Pokemon each one cuter and cuter,will one replace Pikachu? Who knows,maybe it's fate for our perky Pikachu. By the time the next 2 generations release Pikachu might be distant. Even Jibanyan is honing in his fame from all the little kids,will it be the same in America? I don't know for sure but f Pikachu holds his own he'll definitely make it. Tell me what you think

Pretty sure Pikas gonna stay. He's been mascot for a couple of years now, and to replace it with another Pokemon would just make Pokemon seem confusing and completely unrelatable.

Jibanyan is Yo-Kai-Watch .-. He cant replace a mascot of another franchise

I'm not saying that I'm saying will people all together make Yokai watch the new rave he can't replace pika but he can sell more than Pokemon Yokai watch has had a burst I Japan what I'm asking is if the same will happen with kids in the us

Pikachu can't be replaced. Reason is because everyone who grew up with Pokemon recognizes Pikachu right away, and even people who don't like Pokemon (for example my boyfriend) knows at least one Pokemon and that is Pikachu. Even the kids today are growing up with Pikachu as the main mascot of the series and to replace him with something else would cause confusion among newer generations.

As much as it would be a nice change, pikachu is here to stay even though I personally replace it with a jolteon as soon as I get a few eevees or evolve it as soon as I get a thunderstone.

Really!?!?!?!?!?! Pikachu!?!? Replaced!?!?!? Impossible, my friend that is like Nintendo dropping the Nintendo name! The pokemon anime features basically pikachu as the main pokemon, pikachu gotten 2 pokepark games, hey you pikachu, pokemon yellow, and many more games where he stars in or is the titular character! Nope nope nope nope nope don't steal my childhood. Nope. This is impossible *hugs pikachu plushie*. Yellow just got an eshop re-release and pikachu is getting a new game mind you. I really hope this is just an attempt to get play coins.

For me, Pikachu is here to stay as the Pokémon mascot even though time and generations of games goes on, to the point where there was some outcry from fans when they find out that Pikachu was not included in Gen V's PokéDex or not seen in the wild in the Unova at all. So for me, Pikachu will still be recognized as Pokémon's mascot for long.

Pikachu is staying, think of it as naming something and keep its name that way for (almost) 20 years and then trying to changing it. It's impossible.

Or like Nintendo deciding to make someone else be the main character in Mario Bros or Legend of Zelda.

I love Pikachu, he's one of the reasons why I got into Pokémon. Despite the fact many people hate the little guy or finds him annoying he's staying .

Well I think Jibanyan can kick him then Pikachu would lightning bolt him in the air 2 minutes later Jibanyan falls from the sky then he use 1000 paws of fury which messes Pikachu up a lot then Pikachu uses lightning ball "pika PIKA CHU PIII!!!"Jibanyan is laying on the ground and so is Pikachu Pikachu almost fainted but ash encouraged him and as Jibanyan got up weakly as Nate waved a choco bar over him they both weakly jumped up and stumbling and Jibanyan does his paws of fury and Pikachu at the last minute at used iron tail to counter Jibanyans attack then they fall weakly look over at each other and start laughing (IDK XD)I think this would make a great story ash and his Pokemon get sucked in nates world and Katie gets sucked in the Pokemon world so Serena helps Katie and Nate and ash help and become friends with itch each other it would be a great fanfic!!!plz don't copy me

It'd be really weird to see Pikachu, as Pokemon's mascot, replaced xP
I believe that there is probably no other Pokemon that would be more recognizable than Pikachu so it's certainly sure that the little critter isn't gonna be replaced

The probability of Pikachu being replaced is 1 million times more than the probability of Spinnerweb changing his avi to a male one (I had to )

i think he's gonna stay i mean he's ashes favorite and most used Pokemon and he is cute. and he can be very powerful if trained right. and almost very little kid like's him so i don't think he will be replaced. and i have a few pikachu including a SHINY but i don't use him much but he is cute...
