Eevee, after no other pokemon that best represents the series that Eevee, he's charismatic, he has several developments, which could explain the terms of the evolution of the game, besides a Eevee does not want to evolve would fit perfectly in place of Ash's Pikachu.

I highly doubt that Pikachu would be replaced, He's been a major icon of Pokémon since the beginning and to change that would probably cause a whole lot of drama for Pokémon fans Old and New!

I don't think so, because when people that doesn't know many about pokemon you asked them what pokemon is this pokemon... probably they will answer or the starters of the first generation or likely pikachu. Why pikachu is the only one that "represents pokemon" well because in the anime in every chapter of the anime you see ash with his pikachu in which for some reason doesn't evolve and keeps reseting during each season... :v. Also because pikachu appears in the first generation making him a perfect pokemon into your team. So this is why I think no one will forget pikachu though.

Hello I think pikachu will always be the mascot of pokemon. Why? Because pikachu was the mascot from the beginning of pokemon and now 20 years past it is the mascot. It's true there are a lot of pokemon very cute but Pikachu will stay, it's the favourite pokemon of many children. They can't change it now.

Nope. Definitely not. Pikachu is iconic while the other Pokémon are ' just' Pokémon. It would costs a lot to change their marketing for a new mascot and I don't think they have a good reason to do so. Also, Pikachu is the one Pokémon that appears in *every* episode of the animé, so to change mascots they would have to give Ash a new Pokémon and ditch Pikachu permanently.

I feel he is going to stay I mean he is in the anime and has been the mascot for quite some time so to just replace him would be quite confusing.

Anyone who has heard of Pokemon probably knows Pikachu. As much as I want to have the mascot replaced (with what I'm not sure Smeargle or Jigglypuff) we're going to have Pikachu be the mascot for Pokemon forever. He's chubby and sort of cute and represents Pokemon pretty well as an animal with elemental powers. Pikachu gets lots of representation anyways and his cry says his name in Gen 6 so no.
