Sorry for breaking the rule but I am having a problem here:

Rhythms s th lngst wrd wtht vwls, t's s cl.
pry try nd cry qlfy.

Is "y" a vowel in English ? I know it is in French and I know it isn't in Spanish. So is it in English ?
I just read (using Google) that it is kind of both, but in "Rhythms", it plays more the role of a vowel (as opposed to the "y" in "you" which is more a consonant), doesn't it ?

Vowels in English are specific letters with no exceptions. While the y in Rhythms is pronounced as 'ih' it still would not be called a vowel. Only a, e, i, o and u are vowels.
