Pretty much every gamer had an original DS/DS Lite at some point in their lives right? What was your favorite DS game? Mine has to be either Metroid Prime Hunters or New Super Mario Bros! I definitely got the most fun out of them.

I had all regular DS models from the DS Lite to the DSi XL! My favorite game is Kingdom Hearts 358 /2 Days, as it had great story, one of the best multiplayer modes of all the DS games, amazing battles with cool bosses and could easily get you hooked on for hours! Second favorite is the The World Ends With You, mostly for the story, the gameplay and the theme in general, but also for the areas and the music!

i liked and still like pokemon diamond

Sadly I never owned a DS/DS lite (my little bro had one though, until it broke). I enjoy/enjoyed Pokemon Soulsilver (Johto is my fave region ever!) and it was an amazing remake, nice graphics, cool music, plenty of gameplay! I hope that game counts, although it's a remake of Pokemon Silver. Luckily, I can relive all of the great classics that I missed out on - on my 3DS! :D

Pokemon Diamond for me, hands down.

Back then I was even crazier about Pokemon until someone stole my game ;-; Mario Kart DS was a close second, but I'd normally pick it up to play only if no one was online from my friend list in Pokemon Diamond to battle or talk (I just remembered I used to voice chat with a select number of people from my old Pokemon clan haha).

I enjoyed playing through most of the DS games I own, but Radiant Historia was easily the one I enjoyed the most. The story kept me interested from the very beginning until the end, it has one of my favourite overall soundtracks, the gameplay has some depth, the characters were good, there are several sidequests, the difficulty is decent, and I love how time travel is used. While the graphics aren't the best though the sprites are nice, battles feel very slow at times and 100% completing the game is very difficult without a guide, the game is overall one of my favourite JRPGs of all time.

my favorite ds game is luminous arc 1 or 2. i loved those games. they are srpg's done right. check it out

New super Mario bros was one of the best games I ever played on my DS. Besides the easy gameplay Nintendo does a very great job of bringing back the retro in a new style using dual screen as the they turn their classic 2D platformer to a stunning 3D game. In fact I still play the game to this day to bring back the good old nostalgia from years ago. That is also why I love the 3DS game New super Mario bros 2 which I also love Nintendo's coin jackpot idea in this game. (Wario should've been in it because he would've fit in so well.) :)

I remember getting Luminous Arc 2 for just 5€ with the soundtrack CD! It was a great game, but along the way I ended up starting Heart Gold and never got to finish it! Still, that really was one of the hidden gems of the regular DS!

PS: That black witch was hard to beat, but total fanservice though!:p

My favorite I think it's Pokémon Black/White, I enjoyed the 5th generation game, in my opinion it had the best story in the series, maybe someone doesn't enjoy the 5th generation but I liked it, good story, good graphic and typical pokémon gameplay.
My second favorite is Pokémon platinum: I liked the 4th generation games, Giratina is pretty cool, quite good story, good graphic and typical Pokémon gameplay.

It's a tie between Kirby Super Star Ultra, Pokémon Platinum, and The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.
Ultra was both my first DS game and the first Kirby game l played. I still have it in fact, and l have never 100% it yet. l'm on 90% Why is the Arena so difficult for me :p I still play it to this day.

Next we have Pokémon Platinum, also the first Pokémon game l played. l have finally beat the elite four last year after a long time of having it. But for some reason, l deleted the data and l regret it badly. Once again, l have no idea why l deleted my data.

Finally The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, also the first Zelda game l played. I love this game. I would delete my data then complete it all over again and l never regretted deleting it once.. I never got bored of it. Sure, the temple you have to go to over and over again is frausterating, still. I loved the soundtracks of the game, sailing on a boat, l felt free. The Gorons, the adorable Anooki creatures, the chickens, the fairies, and finally, Linebeck <3 my favorite character from all Zelda series...even though l've only played 3 Zelda games (PH, ST, MM3D) Sadly, l lost the game 2 years ago while moving to another house...

i think many people missed out on these great games. i see most people saying their fav game is some sort of pokemon, but i am totally not a pokemon fan. im most likely one of the few people who dont play a lot of nintendo named games on the system. i can only do so much on mario and friends. but i do enjoy the zelda games tho. i just wish the 3ds had more third party games.
