You can change a Mii’s personality and appearance at any time, but it doesn’t work the same for jobs in Miitopia—at least not yet. This guide will inform you when and how to change a Mii’s job in the game.
How To Change a Mii’s Job in Miitopia
Miitopia’s story campaign is split into 6 chapters. Only until you’ve completed the first three chapters would you have access to changing your Mii’s job in the game. However, the game resets your level and allows you to change your protagonist’s job at the beginning of the first three chapters. Afterward, you’ll regain the lost levels for each job and gain the freedom of choosing your choice of job.
To change a Mii’s job at that point:
- Press X to open up the main menu.
- Select Inn.
- Press X again to return to the main menu.
- Select Party.
- Find the Mii you wish to change and select New job.
- Choose from the list of new jobs for the Mii.

- Elf (secret job)
- Vampire (secret job)
Each job starts a Mii off at level 1. Even though the Miis lose their jobs during the first half of the story, they’ll maintain those levels for their respective lost jobs.
