Project X Zone 2 announced; localization confirmed

In celebration-worthy news, Monolith Soft is developing the sequel to 2013’s much-hyped Sega, Namco and Capcom crossover Project X Zone and it’s coming to the Americas this fall for the 3DS. The confirmed characters so far include:

Sega:

• Kazuma Kiryu, Goro Majima (Yakuza)
• Akira Yuki, Kage (Virtua Fighter)
• Hotsuma (Shinobi)
• Erica Fontaine, Ichiro Ogami (Sakura Wars)

Capcom:

• Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine (Resident Evil)
• Dante, Virgil (Devil May Cry)
• X, Zero (Mega Man X)
• Strider (Strider series)

Namco Bandai:

• Jin Kazama, Kazuya Mishima (Tekken)
• Kite, Haseo (.hack)
• Yuri Lowell, Flynn Scifo (Tales of Vesperia)
• Natsu (Soulcalibur)
