You’re probably wondering if Nintendo DS games are compatible with the New 3DS (N3DS for short, where “N” stands for “new”). To answer that question, yes, they are compatible with the New 3DS. However, some are not.
Features from games that require the use of the GameBoy Advance (GBA) slot will not work. For example, Pokemon Diamond/Pearl has a feature known as Pal Park that takes advantage of the GBA slot from the Nintendo DS and it isn’t supported on the device, if my translations are correct of course. In addition, games such as Pokémon Tretta Lab that require extra hardware are also not compatible with the New 3DS.
