4 Years...

Four years from today, March 27, 2011, the Nintendo 3DS was released in North America. I went to the bank 3 days in advance to withdraw nearly $300 USD from my bank account just to buy this system. When the epic day came, I forced my dad to hightail it to Walmart in order to purchase this glorious system (I was a great child back then). Surprisingly, the Nintendo 3DS was in full stock when we got there. I went with a Cosmo Black 3DS and Super Monkey Ball 3D alongside. These two purchases totaled up to around $290 USD.

For those of you who bought the Nintendo 3DS between late March and early June know that there was literally nothing to do on the system besides play 3DS games, use a few pre-installed apps, and watch an OK GO video (that was deleted after a certain system update). eShop wasn't even around yet.

Anyhoozers, I'm shocked that my 3DS hasn't broken yet, because I've dropped it a copious amount of times. However, my 3DS's battery life only lasts for an hour now, maybe less, so I usually keep it plugged in while I'm using it. When its time is up, I plan on getting a New 3DS XL (I have mixed opinions about it).
