Back-to-School Guide

Back-to-School Guide

Are you all seniors in high school
Great effort. Just too much of a personal thing for me to respect. It's a little weird.
lol Youre super popular on 3dspedia because you have all 5 star ratings! (dont wanna be that one guy that ruins everything by posting a mean or negative comment- which I'd never do, of course!)xD
Anyways, youre guide was very helpful & Id of DEFINITELY used it if it werent for 1 small insignificant detail- I graduated last year. Class of 2015! I actually did everything in your guide except:
1.) Take showers in the morning
2.) Do my homework
3.) Pay attention in class
4.) Stay awake
5.) Do classwor- *stops* *realizes*
You know, this is starting to look like a list of high school
"Should-Not-Dos"... :c

I see. Late congrats >.<)/
Great. What are you, a senior now? Also, what's with the emphasis on comfortable bags? Why not get a bag with wheels? I thought you said popularity doesn't matter ;-)

Yep, senior. Comfortable bag because you'll be holding it all day >.<'
Nice job. I really liked all your tips! Getting up early is the worst, but I've already been is school for 4 weeks, and things are going pretty smoothly. Lol reading this while "trying" to do my homework.

Thanks! Don't forget the hw D:
You forgot one key point. If you have summer reading, get it done ASAP. Being behind in high school isn't fun. My friend learned it today
As a teacher (well, almost - one more year), I approve wholeheartedly of this and it's similar to the sort of things I used to do as a student before hitting that "who cares" slump and relying on roughly five hours of sleep and doing all of my work in the mornings or at school because I vehemently refused to do anything after coming home from school. Disclaimer: this worked for me. It doesn't work for most people.

As an aside, community college is actually a pretty valid option for students with financial difficulties who, for one reason or another, aren't being adequately supported by other institutions. Two very cheap years of community and then transferring yourself and your credits to somewhere else is actually a pretty good idea and nobody frowns upon you for it. I didn't realize this when I was younger and thus have some debt.

Thanks! I didn't mean to diss community college. My point was that doing homework is important or you won't get really far in school and develop bad habits.
Kool! but I don't need no guide because I don't actually care much whether it's summer or school because its fun-ish either way. Also Math is my favorite subject :3
Very Good Miss Rawrrie! Quite helpful!

Thanks!
Thanks so much for this! :D
This blog was really nice, i just started in a new place with multiple nationalities and i can relate and agree to all of this,i loved your 'when it begins' section a lot of people(High school kids especially) these days don't understand that while school is a place to make friends and enjoy its not a political/social competition, you don't need to be the cool kids(especially the kind who deal in illegal activities, we have random drug tests at school for that!)if you don't want to rot away in a cubicle for your whole life you are much better off using your time and effort in studying.
also i don't want to say much but don't lose your focus chasing after this one girl you like or one guy you like, while dating isn't a bad thing by any means don't let it ruin your future (Very unfortunately reality isn't like a TV show or anime).
Nice guide! Though, there's only one thing you need to be good at school... a sweet pair of Air Jordans :P
Oopabulous advice! ^^

My school gives out mints as students are working through big exams. The mints seem to really help me focus better for some reason.

#SeniorYear - It's nowhere near as glamorous as High School Musical xD
Good except for the how to get excited part. It's impossible to get excited for school xD
Great guide! It's pretty handy, especially the tip for waking up.
I'd like to add something: I know most of us are groggy when we enter our morning classes. So, wake up earlier, and go for a run! I usually run around 1 km in the morning, and I'm usually refreshed for the entire day. It helps a lot with staying awake.

Also, if you are having trouble concentrating, try using apps like Lumosity to work your brain and improve your cognitive skills :)
This was a awesome guide! and really useful thank you!!! :)
This guide is so useful for me, thank you so much for this - I can finally relax about school, you're amazing rawrrie! :D
