Evolution of My Posts

I looked back at some of my older posts on here and I noticed some major differences from my posts when I first started to my posts now. The main thing I noticed was how I organize my ideas in posts, to look much better and being easier for other people to read. So without further ado, let's begin the timeline of my post writing!

  • The Giant Paragraph - Basically what it sounds like. I used to write a lot of giant paragraphs for on post which was basically me doing a brain dump on the topic I would talk about. There was no clear organization in my ideas, mostly just whatever popped up in my head I just wrote it. I used to be OK (Kay-O) with it when I first started on Pedia, but a few months later I felt a need to switch around a bit.
This is a giant paragraph which contains everything I want to say about the topic at hand. I thought about the topic for a few minutes and I am just going to write everything that came to my mind in the time I thought about it. I have to write everything immediately otherwise I might forget some of the things I really wanted to say and I don't feel like making another post adding on the extra stuff so here's everything in a giant chunky paragraph have fun reading kthxbai!
  • The Essay - This is basically multiple tiny paragraphs which each consisted of about 3 sentences, and each paragraph held their own idea. I felt like this was a more effective way of writing, since this way I could separate and organize my ideas much more easily than I would with the giant paragraph. I'm pretty sure most people know the traditional essay format (Intro, Body, Conclusion), and I noticed that I used to follow the same concept in my posts. I liked the idea a lot, but just recently I found it to be way too wordy or redundant, so I adopted a new writing style which I use today.
So in this paragraph I will address the topic at hand. I will acknowledge some previous points made and I will present some ideas that could add on to the previous points that other people may have made. And with that I will begin addressing the newer points I made.

In this paragraph I would like to address the first idea I presented. I believe these details help make this a good idea, and I think that by taking this idea, you can improve these things that you may have had trouble with and perhaps with the help of what someone else said you could easily improve your skill at the thing.

This paragraph will be about my nth idea, where n represents the number of ideas which I wish to present to the topic. These body paragraphs are mostly similar in format to the others, with no major difference other than the idea being shared within the paragraph.

This is my conclusion paragraph. Here I evaluate all my points and all the other points presented, and in the end I will provide a combination of some of the more helpful ideas, and a few tips of what can help the topic be more informational. This ends with a closing statement that sums up the idea of the entire post.

  • Bullet Pointers - If you see some of my newer posts, you may recognize this format. Basically with this format, I'll have an opening statement at the top addressing the topic, and I'll provide an unordered list of ideas in the form of Bullet Points, with the main idea in Bold and a tiny explanation of the idea (like details and such) followed by a dash after the Bold idea (Kinda like how you see with this list). I find that with this format it's a lot easier to read all the ideas without sounding too redundant, plus it helps wrap up points quickly and easily. I have found this style much more convenient and easier to use, and I think a lot of people could think the same way. Then after the this I would have another line as a conclusion to wrap up the post and leave the topic with a positive note
Basically this blog post
I know this isn't really some amazing thing that people would enjoy, but it's just something that caught my eye and I thought I'd share with people something interesting I discovered about myself :p

Anyways I hope you enjoyed reading this, and perhaps enjoy or appreciate some of the posts I write in the forums, and I hope to continue posting for the time I spend of Pedia! ^-^
