How i got into Mega Man Legends.

Since Mega Man Legends is coming out on PSN i thought i'd share something.

So let me tell you guys a story. This is a true story, this is not BASED on a true story, this is a true story. i was born in the mid 90s (just giving a little back story.) and i was that little brother that had to play as Luigi from Super Mario Bros. My big brother was a huge gamer and i just followed in his foot steps because why not? He introduced me to a lot of video games including Mega Man Legends. in fact i think Mega Man Legends was the first Mega Man game i came across before stumbling upon the X series and the original. well as a kid i never really liked the games that my big brother played at the time because they were confusing and hard. Only Mega Man Legends was the only game that actually caught my eye. I wanted to play it but we had a rule, we (and by we i mean I ) couldn't play a game that someone else bought unless they beaten or got tired of it. Luckily my big brother finally beat it without completing most of the side missions. I got to play the game but couldn't really get to far, i had no idea what i was doing and often got lost because i never read that blue text box when someone was talking. It was the only game i ended up loving because it was very unique and charming.

A few years later i'm with my big brother along with my dad and we go out to go rent a movie from this old movie rental shop that used to be in our town. We walked in and my big brother and i immediately went to game section, which wasn't really big. Then i hear my big brother say "No way!" i went over to go see what's up and i see him holding two games in his hand. Misadventures of Tron Bonne and Mega Man Legends 2. My big brother wanted to rent these games so bad but our dad didn't really like games. He didn't mind of course but he didn't want my big brother and i to be sucked in. So we only get one, Mega Man Legends 2. I never got to play it because we only had the game only for the weekend. My big brother never beaten it and we returned it. We did the same for Misadventures of Tron Bonne. Years later my big brother buys Legends 2, i don't know where or how but he manged to get one. I played it but never beaten it because it was so much harder than the first one.

Years later, i'm in high school when they announced Legends 3, i was in ninth grade when they announced it. At this time i didn't really care for Legends or Mega man in general, so i wasn't excited for it. Than next year in high school they cancel it. I was entering 10th grade at the time. During that time i didn't know they cancelled it because i didn't care. I just wanted to get girls, work on my education and play other games. Than during my senior year (2014) i get this sudden urge to play Mega Man Legends. So i grab our old copy (and yes it's still the same one from the very beginning.) and start playing it. I played it non-stop until i 100% completed. Even when I beaten the game i still wanted to play more. So i played the Legends 2 copy that my big brother had and i finally got to beat it for the first time ever! After i beaten it i still wanted more. So i go on to my computer and i look up articles, facts, websites, wikis about Mega Man Legends 3 and it's cancellation hoping that there's some light. Then out of no where i just started crying. I was crying more harder than a fat man realizing that McDonald's ran out of fries (lol.) Anyways, i have cried for over 3 days and i started following 100,000 Strong GMOTM and to this day i will always be strong. Fun Fact i learned, Mega man Legends 1 for PSN will be released on the same day Legends 3 was announced. Coincidence? maybe, but it is a step forward.

(sorry for some errors! >w<) Legends Never Die!
