Today, Gerud Sandstorm (Aka Larsi) and I were battling it out in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. He was using Dorf while I was using Yoshi. It was an intense battle at the time, mainly due to the powerful attacks Larsi kept inflicting on me. The battle was almost over, with each of us down to one stock and encompassing relatively high percentages. I begin to hear my phone ring. I knew it was mother because of prior conversation with her. At this point I was panicking. My thoughts exactly: "If I don't hurry up and end this match, I'm toast!"
'Twas like everything was happening in slow motion...
The First Ring: Larsi smacked me into the air.
The Second Ring: I butt-stomped my way back onto the stage.
The Third Ring: I dashed at Larsi, grabbed him with my dino tongue, then spat him downward so he would bounce and be situated right above me.
The Final Ring: I jumped, fluttered, and brought the final blow with Yoshi's up-smash. Larsi couldn't dodge in time. I wasn't too sure if that was enough to end the match, but I plopped my game pad down on the floor anyways to lunge toward my phone.
I answered just in time.

Moral of story: Never miss a call from your mother, no matter the circumstances.
