Danny and Haley were attacked by a strange archer, being able to defend, they were transferred to a small inn owned by Champ.
The next morning....
" Wow, it feels great to actually have a goodnight's rest. " Haley said jumping off her bed. Danny was still sound asleep, but Haley didn't bother to wake him up. Haley got out of the inn room and walked to Champ. " Morning. " Champ said stirring some carrot soup. " Wow, your up early. " Haley said. " Oh when your owning a business you have to wake up early... " Champ said. " Ah.... how old are you? " Haley asked. " Well, 11. " Champ said scooping some carrot soup into three bowls. " Wow! That's pretty impressive owning such a big company, but being so young... " Haley said. " Oh, it's nothing, just skills and spirit. " Champ said sprinkling some salt on the soup. " Well, how bout you get Danny, I've got three bowls of warm carrot soup.
" Yeah, I'll get him. " Haley said walking off. " Danny! Wake up! " Haley said shoving him off the bed. " Ow.... " Danny said landing on the floor. " Champ made some carrot soup. " Great! " Danny said quickly getting up and running out of the room. " Well he's sure excited. " Haley said walking out of the room. They all ate there carrot soup, but then they heard swords clashing. " Um, paladins, Mercenaries? Is there any trouble out there. " Champ asked nervously. Then the door fell down and three paladins where knocked away with the rest of Champ's defense force on the ground. " No... not DEVORK knights..... " Haley said drawing her sword. " Wait, you've got a sword! " Champ said jumping behind his table. Then Danny got out his axe. Three knights came out. " I sense two heroes here. " one of the knights said pointing his claymore at Danny. " Er.... " Danny said nervously. " Huragh! " one of the knights said pummeling the crafting table revealing Champ. " You are the other hero! " the knight said swinging his claymore, hitting Champ. " Oww..... " Champ said falling on the ground.
" Take this! " Haley said jumping and slashing one of the knights, but the knight countered and hit Haley back. Champ got up and grabbed a frying pan and whacked the knight, but it didn't do much damage and the knight attempted to strike Champ, but Champ dodged and threw a bomb, but it didn't do much damage. The knight decked Champ knocking him on the ground. '' No where to run, eh? " The knight said raising his sword. Then Haley jumped and countered the sword and stroke her sword knocking the knight's armor off and he disappeared. " Uh, a little help! " Danny called trying to defend himself against two knights. " coming Haley said making a powerful slash knocking the knight on the ground and he disappeared. There was only one knight was left, but he decked Haley and she was knocked on the ground. Champ and Danny gazed at each other with worried expressions.
The knight swung his sword hitting Champ knocking him on Haley. " Eat this! " Danny said jumping and whacking the knight hard, but it didn't do much damage. " Take this! " a voice called and a large claymore hit the knight and he disappeared. " W-W-Who are you? " Danny asked nervously. " Rawn, I'm a traveling mercenary, but I specialize in carpentry. " Nice to meet you Danny said. " Catch ya later! " Rawn said running away. " Well, Danny said getting out two potions, giving them to Haley and Champ. " Well suppose I'll wait.
3 hours later.....
" So that knight said I was a hero, right? " Champ said. " Yeah, could you join us? " Haley asked. " Sure Champ said.
