Mother 3 is not a game for the untrained

I was playing Mother 3 today because a lot of my friends wanted me to play it. So I play through it running past lots of enemies because of time constraints and attempt to preserve HP (I know its a stupid idea) but as then I reached the Reconstructed Calibrou and it easily took me out after a few hits while a barely did any damage to it. I fought it about 5 times and it keeps beating me. I probably can't advance any further in the game for a while because of how underleveled I am. Plus the local enemies can be defeated for exp but after fighting 3 or 4 of them Flint will eventually die. I only wanted to play for the story but this game is making work too hard .
If you plan to play Mother 3 don't skip a single enemy unless you enjoy failing.
