In the last part, I got Jeff to rescue Paula and Ness from the underground grave trap thingy. This time around I did a few things.
I spent a night at the hotel to heal everyone. That very night Jeff stayed up to fix is Broken Air Gun. After working all night it became the Machma Air Gun!
So everything is still dark and gloomy in Threed as expected. I went South for random exploration purposes. Found and unusual tent. I tried to go inside, only to realize it was......bogus. literally. The Bogus Tent attacked me. I didn't have much of a plan against it myself, I had Ness do PK flash to get it crying, Paula defend because it seemed best, and Jeff was spying so I could see its weaknesses. It was weak to fire. I tried spamming PSI Fire with Paula, but she ended up dying. Then Jeff went out from all the missed bases. Now it's Ness vs Tent. Ness tried PSI Rockin! Missed! Bogus Tent is attacking.
SMAAAAAAAASH!! Ness took mortal damage. Ness's body was hurt and collapsed.
Rage quit, shut down, didn't pick up the game for 2 days. Seriously, WHO DIES TO A TENT?!?! Well after that salt waved over, I decided to rebattle this Bogus Tent. This time, I didn't have to waste time spying on it, so Paula could already start getting PSI Fire on it, and Ness and Jeff could start making it take more damage. Then, finally, it died! Yay I killed a tent
. After that long and tiresome battle, Paula had grown to level 17! Jeff had grown 2 levels from that battle, making him level 14!
Afterwards I noticed two zombies with a trash cans. The two zombies ran away, and I dug around the trash (yes I'm that bad). I found a can of Fly Honey, then talked to someone who claimed to have worked with the monsters :0. He said that the woman who controlled the monsters loved Fly Honey for some reason, and that a lot of ghosts and zombies love it as well :0.
What could all this possibly mean? Bogus tents after our lives, Honey coming from Flies, Ghosts and Zombies loving it? Where does it all connect? Find out in the next part of... N's Playthrough of Earthbound!
