In the last part (which was quite a while ago) I freed the Runaway Five of their contract! Now the new Department Store had opened, and it's time to go shopping!!
So I just casually upgraded all my equipment, bought some food to heal. After everything was set, I was getting ready to leave. Suddenly, the lights went out! I was a bit confused as to why this happened. Then next thing I saw, some green thing ran up to us, and kidnapped Paula before our very eyes >.<)/
Well isn't that great. Her PSI made fighting things a lot more simpler. Not only that but she had all the food that I had bought, so that felt like a waste.
After she got kidnapped, an announcement was made on the P.A. It said "Mr. Ness please come to the office on the 4th Floor. Gwaaaaaargh!" Well doesn't that sound very...welcoming. So I made my way to the 4th floor as instructed and along the way a few enemies kept getting in the way. Didn't really level anyone up, Ness and Jeff are pretty high levelled. I made it to the room. I found a weird green thing identified as the Department Store Spook. It said he was ready to destroy me and blah blah you get the point.
And thus we commence battle. The boss fight was relatively easy, all it took was one PSI Rockin' β and one of Jeff's Super Bombs to do the trick. After the battle he says that Gigyas will avenge him and what not. I leave the room and the Department Store regained power again. The people in the store were hidden during the power outage but came out when the power returned.
I left the mall and went to the café. Talked to the manager who said he heard some ruckus outside. Went to go check out the ruckus. Turns out it was Everdred who was injured badly. He tells us that Monotoli had betrayed him and that Happy Happy Village had a secret. He tells us to go in the café and find the door behind the counter. Afterwards he leaves and we go back into the café.
In the café I clicked A a few times at the wall until I finally found the door
. Everything looked fancy and lighted up. Turns out I was now in Moonside! Here in Moonside enemies and teleportation users are on the streets. My goal was simple in Moonside. Find the Mani Mani Statue and destroy it, as it was the root of all of Monotoli's power.
So that will just about wrap it up for this part, I'm gonna try to make parts more often and more longer too, so be sure to stick around for more of my Playthrough.
