Hey everyone, it's been a long time since my last part, so I decided to make it up by doing a lot more in this part!! So let us begin.
When I last left off, I had battled the Bogus Tent (why does that have kill ability). From there, I started poking around Threed a bit. I go down this "mysterious dungeon" at the end of the graveyard that everyone mentioned. In there I fought some zombies and slimes. The dungeon was short, I reached out in no time. I then found a dude standing outside the cave. He mentioned to me that a place called Saturn Valley was nearby (BOING). So me being the excited little Mr. Saturn lover I am, I made my way there as fast as possible (which isn't really fast since Ness can only walk >.>). After rushing through, I managed to reach Saturn Valley, home to Mr. Saturn. I talked to a few of them, I got filled up on some information about the valley losing population to Belch. So while there, I noticed that most of the services, such as hospital and inn, were free! After taking care of myself, I talked to a Mr. Saturn who mentioned a password for a waterfall gate.
Now I leave Saturn Valley to go to the waterfall. Once I got there, I inputted the password, and had to wait for 3 minutes.
*3 minutes later*
We are now inside the secret compartment behind the waterfall, where the Mr. Saturns were taken. A slime approaches us, and welcomed us because of the Fly Honey we had to offer. So we go through a bit, discovering that this was where all the zombies and ghosts in Threed were being created. We had to tower our way down. After reaching the bottom of the smelly pits, we finally reached Master Belch's room! He tells us that he knew about the prophecy, and that he works under Gigyas. Then we do battle. The first thing we did was get him engrossed with out Jar or Fly Honey. Then afterwards he became a pretty simple boss to beat. From there I was able to free all the Mr. Saturns and stop all the ghosts and zombies from invading Threed! Saturn Valley now has their population back to normal and Threed is freed! (Lol that rhymed)
On the way I found a sanctuary. I beat the boss and recoded the next melody, the melody of milky hills. The boss was easy, just had to put it to sleep every few turns.
Next stop: Fourside. I took the bus to get to Fourside. Costed $6 ($2 per person). As the bus was going through the desert and making its was, we got stopped by heavy traffic in the desert. In the desert we had to walk the rest of the way. Good thing we ordered some pizza before heading out
. After bearing the heat of the desert, we managed to reach the other side and get to Fourside! While there, I talked to some people and they kept mentioning some successful Mr. Monotoli dude. I feel like he's important, considering that I'm not allowed to even see him ;-;
Who is Mr. Monotoli? What makes him important? Is he connected to our quest in any way? All these questions will hopefully be answered in the next part of N's Playthrough of Earthbound!
